摘要： A thermal wall system for constructing insulated concrete walls includes a pair of opposing forming walls, a mount extending between the forming walls for positioning the walls in spaced relationship, at least one spacing element mounted to the mount, and a body of thermally insulating material held by the spacing element in spaced relationship to at least one and preferably both of the forming walls. Concrete poured into the areas between the body and forming walls envelopes the spacing members and the insulating body, with the resultant concrete wall having the insulating body spaced from the exposed outer surfaces of the cured concrete of the wall a consistent depth corresponding to the depth of the spacing element. The mounts are preferably tie bars, which readily receive the spacing elements and structurally connect the spacing elements positioned on opposite sides of the body.

The annuloplasty prosthesis comprises a flexible body defining an exterior of the prosthesis formed of a biocompatible material and configured to rest against and support the heart valve annulus upon implantation. The flexible annuloplasty prosthesis has a height of not more than 2.5 mm. This low profile characteristic enhances a surgeon's ability to implant the prosthesis. In one preferred embodiment, the flexible body is a fabric material folded onto itself along a length thereof, with the annuloplasty prosthesis being characterized by an elevated longitudinal stiffness.

摘要： A method and apparatus for making a self-sealable packaging, and the self-sealable packaging and method of use are disclosed. The apparatus includes dispensing a web and converting it by folding or by welding two webs together to provide upper and lower layers defining a pocket therebetween. A line of weakness is provided in an extension on the lower web, and a release liner is positioned over the line of weakness in spanning relationship, with a pattern of adhesive applied between the release liner and the extension below the line of weakness. The release liner is secured to the extension above the line of weakness, and the web is sealed along side boundaries and separated therealong to provide individual bags. The pocket of the bag is sized to receive an article, such as a newspaper therein. After insertion of the newspaper, the extension is separated along the line of weakness to provide a flap carrying the adhesive. The flap is folded over the opening of the pocket to adhesively secure the newspaper therein.
