摘要： Dual flow auxiliary power unit (APU) inlets and associated systems and methods are disclosed. An inlet in accordance with one embodiment of the invention includes an entrance aperture and a divider positioned in the inlet and located to separate a first portion of the inlet from a second portion of the inlet. The first portion can be configured to couple to an engine air intake of an APU, and the second portion can be configured to direct air away from the air intake. The divider can be positioned to direct air having a first total pressure level and a first distortion level to the first portion of the inlet, and direct air having a second total pressure level and second distortion level to the second portion of the inlet. The first total pressure level can be approximately the same as or higher than the second total pressure level, or the second distortion level can be approximately the same as or higher than the first distortion level, or both.

摘要： A method of modular pole construction an elongate modular pole structure is disclosed. A first step of the method involves providing hollow tapered pole section modules, each module having a first open end and an opposed second open end. A cross-section of the second end is less than a cross-section of the first end. The modules are stacked to form an elongated modular pole structure of a selected length by mating the second end of a first module with the first end of a second module. The first and second modules may have different structural properties, such that poles having desired structural properties can be constructed by selectively combining modules having differing structural properties.

摘要： A lawn raking assembly for mounting a rake to a lawn tractor includes a rake mount that has a pair of pivot points which each pivotally engages a front end of a lawn tractor having the rake mount extending forwardly from the front end of the lawn tractor. A rake is removably attached to the rake mount for raking the lawn in front of the lawn tractor when the lawn tractor is driven. The rake has a pair of raking elements that each extends outwardly beyond a full transverse width of the lawn tractor. A linkage is coupled to the rake mount and a handle is pivotally coupled to the lawn tractor. The handle pivotally engages the linkage for urging the rake between a lifted position and a lowered position.

The cross-arm includes an insulating structural member for attachment to the tower body and to support a conductor cable. The insulating structural member comprises a solid rigid spine extending along a long axis having cross sectional profile, normal to the long axis, having a second moment of area of its cross sectional profile about every axis normal to the long axis and dissecting its centroid has a value of A2/2π or more, where A is the area of the cross sectional profile. The structural member provides resistance to bending and compressive buckling and allows conductors to be safely supported at reduced tower height. T and Y shaped cross sections provide water run-off and inhibition of organic growth. The structural members are also generally useful as insulator members in high voltage power networks.

There is at least one signal processing output module having a connector for connecting with the connector in the module bay when the signal processing output module is inserted in the module bay. The signal processing module has a signal processing circuit and the signal path through the audio device is interrupted and re-routed through the signal processing module when the module is installed in the audio device. The module may also have a dress panel with at least one input on the dress panel for connecting an input device to the signal processing module. This way, the signal processing modules do not occupy the available inputs of the audio device.
