摘要： A flame retardant aromatic polycarbonate resin composition comprising: (1) 100 parts by weight of resin components comprising 50 to 100 wt % of an aromatic polycarbonate resin (component A-1), 0 to 50 wt % of a styrene-based resin (component A-2) and 0 to 50 wt % of an aromatic polyester resin (component A-3); and (2) 0.1 to 10 parts by weight of a silicone compound (component B) which contains an Si—H group and an aromatic group in the molecule based on 100 parts by weight of the total of the resin components, wherein the silicone compound is at least one selected from silicone compounds which have (1) an Si—H group content (Si—H content) of 0.1 to 1.2 mols/100 g and (2) a content of an aromatic group represented by the following general formula (1) (aromatic group content) of 10 to 70 wt %: wherein X's are each independently an OH group or the residual monovalent organic group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, and n is 0 or an integer of 1 to 5, with the proviso that when n is 2 or more, X's can differ from one another, and molded articles thereof. A halogen-free polycarbonate resin composition having excellent transparency and dripping preventing properties and molded articles thereof are provided according to the present invention.

This additive does not use environmentally harmful halogen or phosphorus flame retardant which also adversely affects the performance of the product, and this additive satisfies severe flame retardancy requirements at the level equivalent to those employing such flame retardants. Also provided are a flame retardant polycarbonate resin composition adapted for use in producing a product having excellent mechanical properties, moldability, and outer appearance as well as an article molded therefrom.The additive for imparting flame retardancy with an organic resin comprises a silicone compound having phenyl group bonded to silicon atom, an alkali metal sulfonate salt group or an alkaline earth metal sulfonate salt group bonded to silicon atom via a hydrocarbon group (optionally containing a hetero atom), and siloxane bond.

摘要： An addition curing type silicone resin composition is provided including (A) 100 parts by weight of a specific organopolysiloxane with a phenyl group and at least two alkenyl groups within each molecule, (B) 1 to 100 parts by weight of a specific organohydrogenpolysiloxane with a phenyl group and at least two SiH groups within each molecule, and (C) an effective quantity of a hydrosilylation reaction catalyst. A cured product obtained by curing this composition is transparent, displays good strength and particularly good flexural strength, and moreover also displays a high degree of hardness. The composition is applicable to a variety of fields including electrical and electronic equipment, OA equipment and precision instruments.

摘要： A polyorganosiloxane compound obtained by allowing a polyorganosiloxane having silicone resin structure to react with a polyorganosiloxane having silicone oil structure in the presence of a hydrosilylation catalyst, and having the both structures in the molecule. Also disclosed is a coating composition including the polyorganosiloxane compound, a silane or silicone resin having an RO—Si group, and a curing catalyst. The former polyorganosiloxane compound is compatible with silicone resins. The latter coating composition can provide coatings improved in flexibility without lowering the curability, surface hardness and weatherability inherent in silicone resins.

摘要： A novel silane coupling agent is proposed for the pretreatment of a glass fiber-based or mica flake-based inorganic reinforcing material prior to compounding with an epoxy resin or a polyimide resin as the matrix to give a composite material such as laminates having excellent heat resistance against molten solder alloy and resistance against heat shock. The principal ingredient of the treatment solution is a trialkoxysilylalkyl-substituted polymethylene diamine compound of the general formula (R.sup.1 O).sub.3 SiR.sup.2 NH(CH.sub.2).sub.n NHCH.sub.2 C.sub.6 H.sub.5, in which R.sup.1 is a methyl or ethyl group, R.sup.2 is a diavalent hydrocarbon group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, e.g., methylene and propylene, and n is an integer of 4 to 8, or a hydrochloride thereof. This diamine compound is soluble in water, in particular, acidified with acetic acid and the aqueous solution is advantageously stable in storage as compared with conventional silane coupling agents.
