摘要： This optical receiving device for discriminating and recovering a data signal, which results from converting an optical signal input through a dispersion equalizer into an electrical signal and amplifying it to a pre-determined amplitude, by using a clock and data recovery circuit for discriminating a data signal at the decision point controlled to achieve the optimum position controls the dispersion characteristics of a dispersion equalizer so that the error count in the recovered data signal by using a clock and data recovery circuit will be minimized by controlling the eye pattern of the data signal which has been amplified to a pre-determined amplitude.

摘要： A photo receiver branches a data signal obtained by photoelectric conversion and supplies the signal to a signal cutoff detector. Depending on the degree of an autocorrelation of a data signal obtained by an autocorrelation detector, the signal cutoff detector detects abnormality/normality. Depending on a level of a control signal to a VCO contained in a frequency phase-locked loop for use in clock generation, an out-of-synchronization detector makes determination of abnormality/normality. Outputs of both the detectors are ORed at an alarm processor and when at least one of the detectors detects abnormality, the detector generates an alarm.

摘要： In a receiver operable in response to a data signal, an eye aperture size is detected along a time axis by an eye aperture detection circuit and is controlled by a control circuit so that it becomes a maximum. The eye aperture detection circuit determines different decision time points of the same level arranged along a time axis and judges whether or not an error is caused to occur at each of the decision time points, so as to detect the eye aperture size and to produce detection results. The control circuit processes the detection results in accordance with a predetermined algorithm to successively vary the eye aperture size and to keep the data signal at an optimum amplitude.

摘要： The present invention provides a chromatography packing material having improved flow rate characteristics and adsorption characteristics. In particular, the present invention provides a chromatography packing material suitable for separation and purification of immunoglobulin in the manufacture of antibody preparations. A porous cellulose gel, which is made by adding polysaccharides having a limiting viscosity of 0.21 to 0.90 dL/g to porous cellulose particles, the dry weight per unit volume of the porous cellulose gel being 1.06 to 1.40 times the dry weight per unit volume of the porous cellulose particles, is used. By adding a predetermined amount of polysaccharides having a predetermined limiting viscosity to porous cellulose particles, flow rate characteristics and adsorption characteristics can be improved.

摘要： A switching power-supply module includes a coil pattern of a transformer or an inductor disposed on a substrate. A portion of the coil pattern projects into an edge portion of the substrate. A plurality of terminals are arranged in the substrate edge portion so that they do not touch the coil pattern. The substrate edge portion is soaked in molten solder in the production procedure in order to fix the terminals onto the substrate with solder after components are solder-connected on the substrate. For this reason, the components were previously prohibited from being mounted in the substrate edge portion, and this region has been previously considered to be a dead space. However, in the present invention, since a portion of the coil pattern projects into the substrate edge portion, dead space is minimized, and the size of the substrate, that is, of the switching power supply module is greatly reduced.

摘要： An on-vehicle adaptor for a portable telephone which mounts a portable telephone so that the portable telephone is never disengaged unless a force larger than a certain level is applied thereto. The adaptor includes a case having a recess for receiving a swelled bottom of a large-capacity battery pack mounted to the portable telephone. The case has a pair of guides for guiding both sides of the portable telephone, a first projection adapted for engagement with a retaining slot formed in the portable telephone, and a second projection adapted for engagement with a retaining slot formed in the battery pack. The adaptor also includes a pair of ratchets adapted to enter and leave openings formed in the guides of the case, the ratchets each having a tapered portion whose thickness in the vertical direction is smaller at a front end thereof. Urging means are provided for urging the paired ratchets toward each other. The portable telephone is attached to the adaptor by engagement of the first and second projections with the associated retaining slots. Also disclosed is a portable telephone charger of a structure similar to that of the on-vehicle adaptor.
