    • An exhaust gas analyzing system includes, on an upstream side of an analytical instrument, an exhaust gas introduction pipe of which one end is opened to an exhaust gas flow path through which exhaust gas from an engine flows and the other end is connected to the analytical instrument. A switching mechanism selectively switches between a sampling path that samples the exhaust gas from the exhaust gas introduction pipe to introduce the sampled exhaust gas into the analytical instrument and an air introduction path that introduces air into the analytical instrument. When the engine is operated, a path to the analytical instrument is switched to the sampling path by the switching mechanism. When the engine is stopped, the path is switched to the air introduction path by the switching mechanism.

    • An exhaust gas measuring bag which can smoothly exhaust gas and perform back purge and back dump in a short period of time without leading to an increase in size and costs of the system is provided. The exhaust gas measuring bag includes a gas connection part which is connected to an external passage flowing measurement gas therethrough for analyzing various components included in the exhaust gas. A pipe is connected to an internal passage of the gas connection part and a plurality of gas ejection holes for ejecting the gas are formed on the pipe. A bag body is deformable and has an internal space for storing at least a connection side of the gas connection part to the pipe, and the whole of the pipe therein. The pipe encloses the gas ejected from the gas ejection holes into the internal space therein. A gas exhaust port is provided, at the gas connection part or a member separated from the gas connection part, and exhausts the gas enclosed in the internal space to the external passage. A valve is disposed on an exhaust passage connecting the gas exhaust port to the external passage, opens the exhaust passage at the time of exhaust of the gas, thereby allowing the gas to pass and closes the exhaust passage at the time of non-exhaust of the gas, thereby preventing passage of the gas.

    • A control apparatus for a gas analyzer system for controlling a plurality of analyzers having different hardware constitutions in a single program works on a single CPU. The control apparatus includes a processing unit with a CPU which is connected with each gas analyzer by a CPU bus to control each gas analyzer. Each gas analyzer is provided with a plurality of AD converters having respectively a plurality of analog input ports in which the respective output signals of the gas analyzer units are inputted, and a non-volatile memory unit for storing a connection condition table which shows the connection condition of the gas analyzer unit to the AD converters, by connecting with the CPU bus, thereby making it possible for the CPU in the analyzer processing unit to control the respective gas analyzers by a single program.

    • A sampling apparatus for exhaust gas is capable of calibrating two flowmeters each other easily and precisely. A diluting air supply passage for diluting the sampled exhaust gas is connected to an upstream side of a diluting tunnel. A first flowmeter for measuring flow rate of air is provided in the diluting air supply passage. A measuring passage having a filter for capturing particulate matter in the exhaust gas diluted with the diluting air and a second flowmeter for measuring the flow rate of the diluted exhaust gas flowing this filter are connected to a downstream side of the diluting channel. Both flowmeters have high precision. A passage changeover part is provided at the downstream side of the first flowmeter of the diluting air supply passage; a passage changeover part is provided at the upstream side of the second flowmeter in the measuring passage; and a bypass passage is provided between the two passage changeover parts. After calibrating one flowmeter by using a bypass passage, the other flowmeter is calibrated by using the calibrated flowmeter.
