摘要： In order to discharge air cleaned free from evaporated fuel vapor in a canister installed under the front seat floor, have none of the air coming inside a passenger room and inhibit water, dirt and dust from being absorbed in a drain pipe in a canister, the following drain pipe in a canister is invented. The drain pipe in canister is connected with a canister body installed under a front seat floor of a vehicle. The drain pipe in the canister comprises a first part extending from the canister body up to an upper portion of an engine room disposed on a front side of a passenger room, and a second part extending from the first part to a portion under a floor of the passenger room.

摘要： A fuel vapor capturing canister includes a cylindrical casing having a communicating hole which is formed at one end so as to communicate with the atmosphere and another communicating hole which is formed at the other end so as to communicate with a fuel tank and an intake system of an engine. An adsorbent is accommodated in the casing so as to form at least one layer. A pair of partitioning plates partition the adsorbent layer longitudinally of the casing. A deflecting plate is disposed between the partitioning plates so as to protrude from an inner wall face of the casing inwardly of the same. The partitioning plates are open in the vicinity of sides of the deflecting plate respectively.

A sub-tank is accommodated in the fuel tank. The sub-tank is axially movable relative to the lid member. A pump module is accommodated in the sub-tank. The pump module includes a fuel pump and a fuel filter. The fuel pump pumps fuel from the fuel tank. The fuel filter circumferentially surrounds the fuel pump for removing foreign matters contained in fuel discharged from the fuel pump. A supporting member connects the pump module with the sub-tank. The supporting member extends inwardly with respect to a substantially radial direction of the sub-tank. The supporting member defines a recess on a side of the lid member. The protruding member is adapted to be inserted in the recess.

摘要： An evaporative fuel-processing system for an internal combustion engine for use in a vehicle. A passage extends between the fuel tank and the intake passage of the engine, for guiding evaporative fuel generated in the fuel tank, for processing, and across which a canister having an air communication port is arranged. A drain passage is connected to the air communication port, to which a valve casing is connected. A first passage is connected to the valve casing, and a first valve is associated with the first passage and the valve casing, for allowing air to flow into the canister through the first passage, the valve casing and the air communication port and for inhibiting evaporative fuel from being discharged from the canister through the air communication port, the valve casing and the first passage. A second passage is connected to the valve casing, and a second valve is associated with the second passage and the valve casing, for inhibiting air from flowing into the canister through the second passage, the valve casing and the air communication port and for allowing evaporative fuel to be discharged from the canister through the air communication port, the valve casing, and the second passage. At least one of the first and second valves is bypassed.

摘要： A canister includes a casing, a fuel reserve well defined at the bottom of the casing, an adsorbent layer provided in the casing for adsorbing fuel vapor, the adsorbent layer communicating with the fuel reserve well at a region of its lower portion and communicating with an atmosphere at its upper portion, a first communication passage defined so that the fuel reserve well communicates with a fuel system of an engine, and a second communication passage defined so that the fuel reserve well communicates with an intake system o f the engine. The second communication passage includes a purge chamber communicating with a region of the adsorbent layer other than the region of the adsorbent layer with which the fuel reserve well communicates, a first fuel outflow passage having a liquid fuel suction port open to the bottom of the fuel reserve well at its lower portion and a nozzle opening positioned in the purge chamber at its upper portion, and a second fuel outflow passage defined over the nozzle opening of the first fuel outflow passage for providing a fuel flow passage extending from the purge chamber to the suction system of the engine.
