SOLUTION: The system includes: at least one sensor for detecting a percentage of total polar materials in cooking oil; at least one transmitter for transmitting the detected percentage; and a data acquisition system located remotely from the sensor. The data acquisition system includes a receiver configured for receiving the transmitted detected percentage.
