    • A method in a communication device and a communication device (100) for adapting a transmission of data are provided. The transmission is transferred from a first chip (110) to a second chip (120) over a chip-to-chip interface (104, 304). The chip-to-chip-interface comprises a wired connection between the first chip and the second chip which is comprised in the communication device. The communication device receives (201) the radio signal (330), comprising the transmission of data from another communication device. The communication device determines (202), from the received radio signal (330), modulation and coding information, which is used for determining (203) a channel quality. Further, the communication device (100) adapts (204) the transmission of data based on the determined channel quality of the received radio signal (330) in such way that at least the determined channel quality is obtained when transferring (205) the transmission of data over the chip-to-chip interface to the second chip.

    • A radio circuit (20) for operation with a digital baseband circuit. The radio circuit (20) comprises an interface unit (165) for communicating data and commands over a communication link between the digital baseband circuits and the radio circuit (20). Furthermore, the radio circuit (20) comprises an event-scheduling unit (180), a local time-reference unit (170), a synchronization unit (175), and an execution- control unit (185). The event-scheduling unit (180) is arranged to receive event-request commands, wherein each event-request command specifies an event to he executed in the radio circuit (20) and a time instant at which the specified event is to be executed, from the digital baseband circuit. Furthermore, the event-scheduling unit (180) is arranged to, in response to receiving an event request-command, schedule the specified event to be executed on the specified time instant. The execution-control unit (185) is arranged to issue execution of each scheduled event at the scheduled time instant based on time information from the local time reference unit (170). By means of the synchronization unit (175), the local time-reference unit (170) is synchronized with a time-reference unit in the digital baseband circuit in response to a synchronization command.
      A communication circuit comprising the radio circuit (20), a method of operating the radio circuit (20), a computer program product, and a computer readable medium are also disclosed.

    • A method of processing a set of input data values comprises the steps of providing said input data values serially to circuitry (10) comprising a number of memory elements (14, 15, 16, 17, 24, 25, 34); and performing in said circuitry a transform function to obtain a set of transformed data values. The method further comprises the steps of delaying a subset of said set of input data values under use of said memory elements (14, 15, 16, 17, 24, 25, 34); providing a modified set of data values by adding individual delayed data values to individual non-delayed data values from said set of input data values; and performing said transform function on said modified set of data values.
      In this way a transform function can be evaluated at fewer output data values than available input data values without increasing the memory requirements considerably.
