摘要： There is provided mechanisms for configuring beamforming settings. A method is performed by a wireless radio transceiver device configured to communicate in directional beams. The method comprises obtaining a performance indication requiring configuration of the beamforming settings of the wireless radio transceiver device. The method comprises selecting a similarity measure objective based on what kind of performance indication was obtained. The method comprises determining, based on the similarity measure objective and results from a similarity measure procedure applied to pairs of received signals, an order in which to evaluate the directional beams when configuring the beamforming settings.

One BWP in the BWP set is an active BWP for the terminal device. The method is performed by a network node. The method comprises configuring a new terminal device entering one of the groups with an active BWP based on frequency overlap avoidance with the active BWPs of the terminal devices already part of the group entered. 摘要： There is provided mechanisms for beam forming using an antenna array comprising dual polarized elements. A method comprises generating one or two beam ports, wherein the one or two beam ports are defined by combining at least two non-overlapping subarrays. Each subarray has two subarray ports, the two subarray ports having identical power patterns and mutually orthogonal polarization. The at least two non-overlapping subarrays are combined via expansion weights. The expansion weights map the one or two beam ports to subarray ports such that the one or two beam ports have the same power pattern as the subarrays. At least some of the expansion weights have identical non-zero magnitude and are related in phase to form a transmission lobe. The method comprises transmitting signals using said one or two beam ports.

摘要： Methods and apparatus in a fifth-generation wireless communications, including an example method, in a wireless device, that includes receiving a downlink signal comprising an uplink access configuration index, using the uplink access configuration index to identify an uplink access configuration from among a predetermined plurality of uplink access configurations, and transmitting to the wireless communications network according to the identified uplink access configuration. The example method further includes, in the same wireless device, receiving, in a first subframe, a first Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiplexing (OFDM) transmission formatted according to a first numerology and receiving, in a second subframe, a second OFDM transmission formatted according to a second numerology, the second numerology differing from the first numerology. Variants of this method, corresponding apparatuses, and corresponding network-side methods and apparatuses are also disclosed.
