    • Disclosed herein is a first network node and a method in a first network node for selecting a transport format among a plurality of available transport formats for communicating information with a second network node via a wireless link, which transport formats are such that a first transport format has a first maximum capacity and all the other transport formats have a higher maximum capacity in an increasing order. The method comprises the steps of: obtaining a quality indicator, which quality indicator indicates the current channel quality of the wireless link; determining a throughput indicator, which throughput indicator indicates the throughput of at least a first transport format and a second transport format being available at the obtained quality indicator; calculating a switching value based on the quality indicator and the throughput indicator; switching to the second transport format when the quality indicator indicates that the switching value is reached or exceeded with respect to the second transport format; sending a notification to the second node, which notification indicates the switch to the second transport format.

    • Method and arrangement for determining at least one phase affecting error related to transmission from at least one pair of correlated antennas. The method involves transmitting (1002) reference signals from the correlated antennas in the at least one pair, in a set of frequency bands, wherein a number of controlled phase differences are introduced between reference signals transmitted from the antennas. The method further involves receiving (1004), in response to the transmitted reference signals, for a number of the controlled phase differences, one or more indications of a selected precoder matrix. Further, the method involves identifying (1006) changes of selected precoder matrix over the number of controlled phase differences, over the set of frequency bands, wherein the identifying is based on the received one or more indications; and determining (1008) at least one relation between the identified changes. Further, at least one phase affecting: error is determined based on said at least one relation. The method and arrangement enable adjustment of transmission from the at leastone pair of correlated antennas, such that said at least one phase affecting error is reduced.

    • The present invention relates to a method of a network node for improving utilization of resources of a cell 102 provided by a radio base station (RBS), the cell covering a geographical area and being a cell served by a low power node (LPN) 101 of the RBS in a heterogeneous network 100. The method comprises determining a load of downlink (DL) resources of the cell used for wireless communication terminal(s) 104 connected to the cell. The method also comprises deciding, based on said determined load, that the DL bandwidth of the cell available for scheduling should be adjusted, allowing the power of the LPN to be reallocated for the adjusted bandwidth available for scheduling whereby a transition zone area 103 between the LPN and at least one neighbouring node 105 will be adjusted accordingly. The transition zone is an area in which a path-loss is lower to the LPN than to the at least one neighbouring node but a received DL power density is lower from the LPN than from the at least one neighbouring node.

    • A method performed by a network node (10) for finding a direction to a wireless device(20) in a wireless communication network is provided. The method comprises the step (S1) of the network node transmitting reference signal pairs on at least one pair of correlated antennas. Each reference signal pair has a unique phase difference between the signals in the signal pair, and the unique phase differences of the reference signal pairs are distributed over a given angular interval. The method further comprises the step (S2) of the network node receiving from the wireless device, in response to each pair of reference signals, a respective indication of a preferred pre-coding matrix, and the step (S3) of the network node determining a direction to the wireless device based on the received indications, information representative of the phase differences of the reference signal pairs, and phase information related to the indicated preferred pre-coding matrices.
