摘要： The invention relates to a transparent proxy as well as methods of caching and providing encrypted data content at the transparent proxy. In a first aspect of the present invention, a method of providing requested encrypted data content at a transparent proxy in a communications network is provided. The method comprises receiving from a client an encrypted identifier indicating the requested encrypted data content at the proxy, identifying the encrypted data content from the received encrypted identifier, determining whether the client is authorized to access the encrypted data content, and if so providing the requested encrypted data content to the client.

摘要： A method performed in a first communication device for real-time communication over a Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) with a second communication device comprises obtaining a first TCP segment having a first sequence number from a TCP buffer in the first communication device, forming a first IP packet comprising the first TCP segment, and transmitting the first IP packet towards the second communication device. The method comprises receiving an indication that the first TCP segment should be retransmitted, and forming a second IP packet comprising the first sequence number of the first TCP segment, and payload data for a second TCP segment which is next in line after the first TCP segment in the TCP buffer. The method comprises transmitting the second IP packet comprising the payload data for the second TCP segment in place of a retransmission of the first TCP segment towards the second communication device.

摘要： A method and apparatus for providing a data object from a Content Server to a client device over a Radio Access Network (RAN). A first property is determined that may affect the way in which the data object is to be transferred. A property of the data object is also determined. In response to the determined first property and the property of the data object, a characteristic of a transfer of the data object from the Content Server to the client device is amended. The data object is then provided from the Content Server to the client device. The method allows characteristics of the transfer of the data object to be changed to optimize transfer to the client device. Examples of the first property include properties in the RAN or client device instructions.

An intermediate node located between a mobile terminal and a mobility anchor point node, receives a data payload. If the intermediate node does not have access to compression information required to perform the compression operation, it sends the data payload to the next node.
