    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microcuvette assembly for properly holding a liquid sample.
      SOLUTION: A microcuvette 7 is formed so as to include a first partial plate 2, having a first cuvette surface 3, and a second partial plate 4 facing the first partial plate and having a second cuvette surface 5. The second cuvette surface 5 is disposed at the operation position of the microcuvette assembly 1 and is separated at a distance 6 so as to be registered and parallel to the first cuvette surface 3. A liquid volume 8 added to one of the cuvette surfaces 3, 5 is held in between two cuvette surfaces 3, 5. In the microcuvette assembly 1, the second cuvette surface 3 of the first partial plate 2 is formed as a free electron beam optical element. The microcuvette assembly 1 is formed independently a surface of a transparent body 10, disposed in an opening 9 that penetrates the first partial plate 2.
