摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a workpiece cutting apparatus and a method of cutting a workpiece where a behavior of a wire is stabilized without using an adhesive, the possibility of wire breakage is reduced, and the cutting accuracy of the workpiece is improved.SOLUTION: The workpiece cutting apparatus includes: a workpiece cutting part having a plurality of wires for simultaneously cutting a cluster of workpieces comprising a plurality of blockish workpieces stacked with their end surfaces pushed against one another into a plurality of flaky workpieces; a workpiece storage part in which the workpieces are carried and accommodated; a push-out means for pushing out the workpiece accommodated in the workpiece storage part in a cutting direction toward the workpiece cutting part fixedly positioned; and a drop height regulating board on which the flaky workpiece is mounted for controlling the drop height of the flaky workpiece.

The positioning holding member has a pressing part capable of pressing the blockish workpiece which is cut by the workpiece cutting part.
