    • PURPOSE:To reduce the number of parts and assembly manhour and reduce weight by converting the ultrasonic wave vibration to a driving energy by two piezoelectric elements and a shift spreading mechanism and carrying out card transport, in the transport device for the card reader of a card type automatic selling machine. CONSTITUTION:Each frequency of the high frequency voltage applied onto the first and second piezoelectric elements 9 and 10 by the respective high frequency power sources 11 and 12 is allowed to accord with the natural frequency of a vibrating plate 7, and the piezoelectric elements 9 and 10 are two- phase driven by deflecting phase by 90 deg.. Therefore, the deflection vibration in Bm mode is generated in the transport direction on the vibrating plate 7 by the first piezoelectric element 9, and the projections 8A and 8B positioned at the node parts are vibrated in the card insertion/discharge directions. Further, the projections 8A and 8B positioned at the belly part are vibrated vertically by the vibration of the second piezoelectric element 10, and a card 1 is shifted by the both movements. With this constitution, the number of parts and assembly manhour can be reduced.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce number of parts and assembling man/day, and enable to be superlight weighted and thin shaped, by constituting the device to be given a multi-mode vibration of primary vibration in the radial direction and vibration in non-axial-symmetry plane through supply of a driving signal to a piezoelectric element, and generating an elliptic motion on a mass point contacted with a motion transmitting face. CONSTITUTION:When alternating voltage of phase difference phi=90 degree is applied to a piezoelectric element 9, the piezoelectric element 9 generates multi-mode vibration of primary vibration in the radial direction and vibration in non-axial-symmetry plane, and generates elliptic motions of two mass points P1, P2 on the outer circumferential face mutually in the opposite rotating direction. When these mass points P1, P2 are contacted with motion transmitting faces 4a, 4b of a card carrying table 2, the card carrying table 2 is moved in the same direction as the rotating direction of elliptic motion at contacting by mutual friction between them. Meanwhile, at voltage of phase phi=-90 degree, the deforming direction of the piezoelectric element 9 is turned reversely, the rotating direction of elliptic motion at contacting is turned reversely, and the card carrying table 2 is moved in the reverse direction.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the number of parts and greatly reduce the weight and thickness by shifting a transport board in the revolution direction of an elliptical movement by constituting the title device so that each longitudinal vibration is generated on the first and second vibrating plates by a piezoelectric element. CONSTITUTION:When the high frequency voltage is applied onto the first piezoelectric element 12A, a longitudinal vibration in the longitudinal direction is generated on the first vibrating plate 11A, and when the high frequency voltage is applied onto the second piezoelectric element 12B, a longitudinal vibration is generated similarly on the second vibrating plate 11B. When the phase difference of the high frequency voltage applied onto the first and second piezoelectric elements 12A and 12B is set 90 deg., the vibration of the first and second vibrating plates interfere each other, and composed to generate a multimode vibration, and an elliptical movement is generated by an arbitrary mass point on the edge surface contacting the motion transmission surface of the transport board 2 of the second vibrating plate 11B. When the second vibrating plate vibrates in the longitudinal direction and the edge surface contacts and separates from the motion transmission surface of the transport board, the transport plate 2 is shifted in the turning direction of the elliptical movement by the frictional force in contact.
