摘要： A method of production of a multilayer optical recording medium capable of avoiding difficulties in separating a stamper and forming a semi-transparent film on a thin flexible film and a production method thereof, comprising steps of forming a first optical recording layer on a substrate formed with a pattern of irregularities for a first optical recording layer on a surface thereof, forming a transfer substrate comprised of an acrylic resin formed with a pattern of irregularities on a surface thereof, forming a second optical recording layer on the pattern of irregularities of the transfer substrate, adhering a flexible film at the upper portion of the second optical recording layer by an adhesive layer, separating the second optical recording layer and the transfer substrate at their boundary to transfer the second optical recording layer to the flexible film, and bonding together the first optical recording layer and the second optical recording layer with them facing each other.

The member inserted in the space is fixed and held by wall surfaces which form the space of the substrates and which are thermally deformed by thermocompression.

摘要： Disclosed is an information recording medium capable of, in the case of recording information signals such as high density information, sufficiently transferring the information signals, and suppressing resonance upon high speed rotation and enhancing the durability of the medium. The medium includes a substrate, a recording layer provided on the substrate for recording an information signal, and a light transmission layer laminated on the recording layer, wherein an information signal is recorded or reproduced on or from the medium by making light incident on the medium from the light transmission layer side. The substrate includes a core layer made from a resin, and a surface layer made from a resin and integrated with the core layer. The surface layer has on its one side plane information signals in the form of irregularities on the recording layer side and has a fluidity which is larger than that of the core layer in the case where both the surface layer and the core layer are in a molten state at the same temperature.
