摘要： In a digital broadcast receiver, program videos of digital broadcasts are switched with ease of use, and quickly displayed. A digital broadcast receiver receives digital broadcasts and processes data contained in the broadcasts to display program videos. The digital broadcast receiver includes: a tuner part having a first tuner and a second tuner; a display part; an input part; and a control part. The input part generates a first operation signal when operation buttons are touched, and generates a second operation signal when the operation buttons are pushed. The control part starts the reception of a program corresponding to the first operation signal by the second tuner when detecting the first operation signal during the display of a program video being received over the first tuner, and when detecting the second operation signal, switches to the display of a program video being received over the second tuner.

摘要： A broadcast receiving apparatus includes a tuner unit, a display unit on which a program picture is displayed, an input unit including multiple channel operational buttons, and a control unit that controls these units in a centralized manner. When any of the channel operational buttons is touched, the input unit generates a first operational signal. When the channel operational button is depressed, the input unit generates a second operational signal. When the control unit detects the first operational signal during display of the program picture on the display unit, the control unit displays, on the display unit, program information signified by the first operational signal together with the program picture being displayed. When the control unit detects the second operational signal after detecting the first operational signal, the control unit switches the program picture being displayed to a program picture signified by the second operational signal.

There is a system which can take a picture of a user when the user is in a predetermined position, but the user cannot confirm the picture when the user is being photographed. For the purposes, an image service system includes plural cameras connected to a network, an administration server for accumulating or distributing images taken by the cameras, and a client terminal for displaying the images taken by the cameras. The position of the user and the positions of surrounding cameras located within a predetermined distance from the client terminal are detected automatically. Images including the user can be displayed on the terminal.

摘要： A pin matrix having a plurality of pins disposed in a matrix pattern is mounted on a display unit disposed on an upper surface of a dot figure display main body in the housing of a dot figure display apparatus. As pins are driven, a dot figure capable of being touched and sensed is displayed. Infrared rays are irradiated from an infrared LED to the pin matrix. A video camera receives infrared rays reflected from a recursive reflection marker attached to a main finger tip to detect the position of the main finger tip on the pin matrix. A pressure sensor is mounted at each corner of the dot figure display main body. A pressure barycenter position and a press force relative to the pin matrix are calculated from a pressure detected with each pressure sensor. The manipulation state of the pin matrix is judged from the main finger tip touch position, pressure barycenter position and press force.

The signal receiving unit of a target device to be operated, such as a television, receives a signal from only one LED as a valid signal according to the direction in which the remote control device is held. 摘要： In various embodiments, methods and systems for implementing integrated free space and surface inputs are provided. An integrated free space and surface input system includes a mixed-input pointing device for interacting and controlling interface objects using free space inputs and surface inputs, trigger buttons, pressure sensors, and haptic feedback associated with the mixed-input pointing device. Free space movement data and surface movement data are tracked and determined for the mixed-input pointing device. An interface input is detected for the mixed-input pointing device transitioning from a first input to a second input, such as, from a free space input to a surface input or from the surface input to the free space input. The interface input is processed based on accessing the free space movement data and the surface movement data. An output for the interface input is communicated from the mixed-input pointing device to interact and control an interface.
