    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerant piping unit and a refrigerant piping installation method with reduced time and cost of manufacturing and excellent installation property at a construction site.SOLUTION: A refrigerant piping unit 1 is composed of a plurality of refrigerant pipes 3 structured into a unit, having a length extending over a plurality of stories of a building as an installation object. The unit includes a pair of rod-like or tubular steel pipes 2 arranged in parallel to each other, which have a length extending over a plurality of floors of the building and enough strength to endure a bending stress when the refrigerant piping unit is lifted from a horizontal state to a vertical state. The paired steel pipes 2 are connected to each other by a fixing and supporting member 10 disposed in a direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of each steel pipe 2. The plurality of refrigerant pipes 3 are each arranged as oriented in a direction parallel to the longitudinal direction of the steel pipe 2, and the plurality of refrigerant pipes 3 are arranged parallel to one another along the arrangement direction of the pair of the steel pipes 2.
