    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pile construction method with a small removal amount of contaminated soil.SOLUTION: A casing press-fitting step 10 is executed first. That is, a casing is press-fitted to the ground containing the contaminated soil. In the ground, a sand layer, a silt layer, a gravel layer and a support layer are laminated in the order under a contaminated soil layer containing the contaminated soil. The casing is at such a depth that it passes through the contaminated soil layer and the sand layer and reaches the silt layer present under the sand layer. Then, an earth removal step 12 is executed. That is, earth and sand are removed while excavating the inside of the casing. An excavation depth is to the lower end of the casing. Then, a pile construction step 14 is executed. That is, an existing pile is built to the depth to reach the support layer through the inside of the casing. Finally, a casing pull-out step 16 is executed. That is, after constructing the existing pile, while filling soil cement in a gap of the inner peripheral wall of the casing and the outer peripheral wall of the existing pile, the casing is pulled out before the soil cement is hardened.
