    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method for reducing the appearance of cracks caused by drying shrinkage of placed concrete, in the construction of a reinforced concrete structure.
      SOLUTION: Reinforcements crossing a shrinkage zone are connected together by means of a lap joint; a marking with a length equivalent to the pre-computed target initial shrinkage amount of the concrete in a position at a distance necessary for the securement of the strength of the reinforced concrete structure from its leading end is applied to the one reference reinforcement of the right and left reinforcements elongated in the inward direction of the shrinkage zone; a leading end of the lap reinforcement elongated from the other side overlaps the reference reinforcement with a length exceeding the width dimension of the target initial shrinkage amount in the application of the marking to the reference reinforcement; and at the stage where the drying shrinkage amount of the placed concrete reaches the target initial shrinkage amount, post-cast concrete is placed in the shrinkage zone.
