      SOLUTION: According to the soil improving body creating method, under the conditions where the soil wedges 2 are formed immediately under the structure 1, or the vertical bearing force of each columnar soil improving body 10 reaches the level on the order of the ultimate vertical bearing force, reinforcing sections 18 are constructed by inserting reinforcing bodies such as H-steels to a depth at which a bending load is applied to the soil improving bodies 10.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pile construction method which generates less excavated soil to be removed.SOLUTION: A first vertical hole 30 is excavated through a first excavation process where the first vertical hole 30 is excavated down to a lower side of a boundary surface 28 between a contaminated layer 20 and an impermeable layer 22 by penetrating a ground surface layer 18 as well as the contaminated layer 20. In addition, a second vertical hole 36 with a larger diameter than the first vertical hole 30 is excavated through a second excavation process where the second vertical hole 36 is excavated from an upper side of the boundary surface 34 between the contaminated layer 20 and an upper layer 18 thereof to the lower side of the boundary surface 28 between the contaminated layer 20 and the impermeable layer 22. Then, a solidified body of a filling material is constructed through an injection solidification process where the filling material is injected inside the second vertical hole 36 and solidified. Next, a hollow cylindrical wall body 50 is constructed through a pile construction process where the solidified body is bored downward from the lower side of the first vertical hole 30 with a diameter almost equal to the first vertical hole 30. Last, a pile is constructed down to a bearing layer 26 by penetrating the impermeable layer 22 beneath the contaminated layer 20 as well as a permeable layer 24 beneath the impermeable layer 22.
