    • The present invention provides a color filter substrate manufacturing method which can prevent the occurrence of color mixing between adjacent pixels despite of the use of an inkjet method, and which are unlikely to cause flicker when used for displays such as televisions. The prevent invention is a color filter substrate manufacturing method including: a first inkjet step of applying inks simultaneously to at least two of a plurality of regions separated by a grid-shaped partition; and a second inkjet step of applying an ink to at least one of regions to which the inks are not applied in the first inkjet step, wherein at least one of inks applied in the first inkjet step is a first ink that is applied to a first target region without applying inks to regions vertically and horizontally adjacent to the first target region, and at least one of the other inks applied in the first inkjet step is a second ink that is applied to a second target region while another ink is applied to one of regions vertically and horizontally adjacent to the second target region.

    • A seat belt retractor is provided that realizes the proper meshing between a plurality of internal teeth and external teeth with a simple movement of a spool. In the case of an emergency, external teeth of a pawl provided at a spool right side end mesh with internal teeth provided on a frame, and, with load acting on a seat belt, a spool left side end contacts a spool guide. Since the spool left side end tends to move further in the direction of seat belt load, the spool guide brings one external tooth at the spool left side end into contact with one target internal tooth provided on the frame. Hence, some of the spool external teeth are made to mesh properly with the respective internal teeth. Thus, some of the spool external teeth effectively mesh with the respective frame internal teeth with simple movement of the spool.

    • During an emergency, in one form of a retractor having a spool, external teeth of a pawl provided at a spool right side end are made to mesh with some of internal teeth provided on a frame, and, with load acting on a seat belt, a spool left side end is brought into contact with a spool pushing portion. Since the spool left side end tends to be moved further in a direction of seat belt load with the load acting on the seat belt, the spool pushing portion pushes the spool left side end, whereby some of external teeth come into contact with internal teeth provided on the frame and fit deeply into gaps between adjacent ones of the internal teeth. Thus, some of the external teeth of the spool effectively come into mesh with the respective internal teeth of the frame with a simple movement of the spool.

    • A seat belt retractor of the present invention is provided with a stopper (16). When a cam follower (16a (sic)) of the stopper (16) is located in an arcuate retraction groove portion (22a) or a linear groove portion (22b) of a cam groove (22), a seat belt (4) is withdrawn by an amount exceeding a predetermined amount for the normal belt wearing. A stopper portion (16b) of the stopper (16) is located at an engagement allowing position (B) so as to allow engagement between ratchet teeth (27) of a locking gear (26) and an engaging pawl (24d) of a vehicle sensor (24). When the cam follower (16a (sic)) is located in an arcuate protraction groove portion (22c) of the cam groove (22), the maximum amount of the seat belt (4) is wound. The stopper portion (16b) of the stopper (16) is located at an engagement preventing position (A) so as to prevent the engagement between the ratchet teeth (27) and the engaging pawl (24d), thereby preventing end lock.
