    • Fine wirings are made by a method having the steps of painting a board with metal dispersion colloid including metal nanoparticles of 0.5 nm-200 nm diameters, drying the metal dispersion colloid into a metal-suspension film, irradiating the metal-suspension film with a laser beam of 300 nm-550 nm wavelengths, depicting arbitrary patterns on the film with the laser beam, aggregating metal nanoparticles into larger conductive grains, washing the laser-irradiated film, eliminating unirradiated metal nanoparticles, and forming metallic wiring patterns built by the conductive grains on the board. The present invention enables an inexpensive apparatus to form fine arbitrary wiring patterns on boards without expensive photomasks, resists, exposure apparatus and etching apparatus. The method can make wirings also on plastic boards or low-melting-point glass boards which have poor resistance against heat and chemicals.

    • A plastic cable clamp (1) has a substantially U-shaped clamp portion formed with a pair of clamp arms, and a cover (13) for closing an opening in the clamp portion. The cover pivots on a hinge to close the opening in the clamp portion and is maintained in the closed position by means of an engagement portion (18) thereon. A protrusion (26) is formed at the end of a clamp arm with the hinge, and a recess (27) is formed in the cover to receive the protrusion. The recess includes a first hole (29) extending from one side of the cover toward the other side of the cover, and a second hole (30) adjacent to the first hole and extending from the other side of the cover toward the one side of the cover. One of the walls (31) of the recess is formed by an end surface of the first hole on the other side, and an opposite wall (33) is formed by an end surface of the second hole at the one side. The cable clamp can be manufactured by using a simple shaping mold, allowing the cable clamp to be manufactured with two split dies and without requiring any additional die component such as a slide.

    • A single lens homogenizer for converting a wide, parallel, in-phase Gaussian beam into a narrow uniform-power beam and shooting an object with the narrow uniform-power beam is proposed. A tilt error induces beam deformation. A single lens homogenizer which can reduce the beam deformation induced by the tilt error is proposed. A suitable homogenizer is a convex/flat lens having a convex aspherical surface on the light source side and a flat surface on the object side. Another preferable homogenizer is a convex/convex lens having a convex surface on the light source side and a convex surface on the object side. At least one of the convex surfaces is an aspherical convex surface.
