    • A negative feedback preamplifier having variable conversion gain control and variable open loop gain control capabilities which can work correctly regardless of semiconductor process variations. The negative feedback preamplifier used to convert an input signal current to a signal in the form of voltage includes: a resistor which determines the current-voltage conversion gain when a small signal current is input to the negative feedback preamplifier; a diode which switches the current-voltage conversion gain when a large signal current is input to the negative feedback preamplifier; a resistor which determines the current-voltage conversion gain when the large signal current is input; a grounded source amplifier including a main FET which is biased such that its transconductance decreases when the large signal current is input; and a bias setting portion (diode) which determines the bias condition associated with the main FET.

    • An absorption refrigerator includes an evaporator having an evaporating heat exchanger pipe operable to evaporate refrigerant on an outer surface thereof so as to cool liquid to be cooled running in the pipe, an absorber containing absorbent liquid for absorbing the refrigerant evaporated at the evaporator, a regenerator for heating and concentrating the absorbent liquid supplied from the absorber by using heat source fluid and then supplying the concentrated absorbent liquid to the absorber, a condenser for condensing steam or vapor of refrigerant supplied from the regenerator and supplying the condensed refrigerant to the evaporator and an evaporator for evaporating the condensed water condensed at the condenser. The absorption refrigerator further includes absorbent liquid supplying means for supplying the absorbent liquid to the refrigerant present at the evaporator and refrigerant discharging means for discharging the refrigerant present at the evaporator to the regenerator.

    • An absorption waste-heat recovery system includes a high temperature generator for directly receiving a heat medium fluid containing waste heat for recovering heat therefrom and concentrating a solution having an absorbent dissolved therein and generating steam, a low temperature generator for re-concentrating the concentrated solution after reduction of its temperature by heat recovering means in the system by using the steam from the high temperature generator as heat source, an auxiliary generator for introducing the heat medium fluid after its heat recovery at the high temperature generator and again recovering heat therefrom, a condenser capable of condensing steam from the auxiliary generator and steam after the re-concentration of the concentrated solution at the low temperature generator, an evaporator for evaporating the condensed water condensed at the condenser, and an absorber for receiving the concentrated solution from the low temperature generator and the concentrated solution from the auxiliary generator and diluting these solutions by causing them to absorb the steam from the evaporator. A double-effect cycle using the high temperature generator and the low temperature generator and a single-effect cycle using the auxiliary generator share at least the evaporator and the absorber out of the condenser, the evaporator and the absorber.

    • The present disclosure concerns a spinning reel for fishing which eliminates the accumulation of line twists in a fishline regardless of the line winding diameter on a spool. The spinning reel for fishing includes a rotor rotatably mounted to a reel main body, and the spool is supported on the reel main body through a spool shaft. Turning a manual handle causes the rotor to rotate around the spool. A line roller is supported on the rotor and guides the fishline onto the spool during winding. The line roller is oriented such that the diameter of a fishline guide portion of the line roller increases in the direction of rotor rotation during winding. A guide projection extending generally toward the longitudinal midpoint of the line roller contacts the fishline to ensure the fishline is maintained at a desired position with respect to the line roller during winding.
