摘要： A walking assistance device applies a walking assistance force from an electric motor to a femoral part of a user. The device comprises a communication unit and an operation switch enabling unit. The operation switch enabling unit disables an operation switch of the walking assistance device until the communication unit receives a signal from an external device even when a power switch is turned on, and enables the operation switch when the communication unit has received a signal from the external device while the power switch is turned on. Thus, unauthorized use of the walking assistance device is prevented, and operation of the walking assistance device is supervised with control parameters suited for the particular user. Also, the walking assistance device can be shared by a plurality of users, and each user can use the walking assistance device with pre-selected control parameters that optimally suit the particular user.

Thus, the first lateral bar is held inside the hook opening as long as the tongue piece is kept in a flat position in a reliable manner. In particular, the first lateral bar can be freely introduced into the hook opening simply by raising the base end of the tongue piece while the first lateral bar is applied to the entrance of the hook opening so that the belt buckle device can be readily fastened even when the belt buckle device cannot be viewed from a proper viewing angle. Also, the belt buckle device can be readily fastened with a minimum dexterity requirement and very quickly.

摘要： In order to provide a walking assistance device that can avoid hampering the motion of the muscles of the user and will not move out of place inadvertently when worn by the user, principal engagement points of a support member for securely mounting an assisting force generator, which is disposed on a side of at least one joint of a lower limb to provide an assisting force to a movement of the lower limb, are provided at portions where a relatively small amount of movement of skin occurs when a trunk or joint is moved. In this way, the support member can be fastened firmly to the portions where an amount of movement of the skin is small and therefore it is possible to reduce the uncomfortable pressure caused during motion while preventing the support member from inadvertently moving out of place.

The server generates authentication key data dedicated for a sewing machine only upon initial transmission of medium identification data and sewing machine identification data from a terminal and stores the authentication key data in mapping with the medium identification data. If a valid medium identification data and an invalid sewing machine identification data are thereafter transmitted to the server, the stored data is not updated and the authentication key data is transmitted to the terminal.
