    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a peripheral structure lessening a temperature difference between a green area and a non-green area and suppressing a temperature rise as the whole to make a green area construction on a rooftop meaningful, preventing ultraviolet rays to a water-resistant layer of the periphery of a green area, drainage from a green area and other adverse effects by water, and balancing the durability of a water-resistant layer both in the green area and the non-green area so as to prevent an increase in maintenance cost caused by early exhaustion of a water-resistant layer in the non-green area, compared to the green area.
      SOLUTION: The peripheral structure of a green area is laid continuing from the end part of a green area constructed on the water-resistant layer of a rooftop or a roof of a building, and includes a covering means formed on the water-resistant layer of the end periphery of a planting area. The covering means includes a drainage structure and a surface layer formed thereon. The surface layer is laid on a recessed part formed in the upper surface of the drainage structure, and on the other hand, a drainage part is set on the bottom of the drainage structure so as to flow while covering running water from the planting area to a prescribed direction.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planting device capable of easily and properly performing water supply/drainage, and achieving working efficiency improvement of a construction, easiness of handling members, and reduction of a production cost.
      SOLUTION: This planting device is obtained by connecting water supply/drainage units which retain/drain rainwater infiltrating from an upper side or watering by other means, and supply the retained water to the roots of plants to hold laminated soil, through superposing ribs formed on the circumference of the units. At least one of the ribs is formed with a flow groove so that water can flow out from one water supply/drainage unit to the other water supply/drainage unit in the water supply/drainage units adjacent to each other.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the efficiency of an operation for laying a roof finishing material on a substrate, suppress the generation of waste on an execution site, prevent the contamination of the roof finishing material at the execution of work, and reduce various costs by facilitating various kinds of operations such as accumulation, transportation, storage, the execution of work and the like, associated with the roof finishing work.
      SOLUTION: In this roof finishing material, a base part and a tab, which are formed by crimping an inorganic layer, are provided on both a surface and a backside. The roof finishing materials such as an asphalt shingle or an incombustible shingle, which are lightweight, flexible and excellent in substrate following properties, are sequentially laid on the substrate by superposing the tab on the base for being joined to a roof substrate part in the laying of the roof finishing material. An adhesive layer 19 is formed in a prescribed place on the backside of the roof finishing material. Furthermore, a release sheet 20 is stuck in a position, corresponding to the adhesive layer 19, on the backside of the roof finishing material, when the roof finishing materials overlap each other in such a manner that the backsides of the roof finishing materials face each other.
