摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base for facility installation which can be installed on a roof easily and firmly, which facilitates construction of a waterproofing layer or the like, and which is resistant to a leak of water.
SOLUTION: The base 10 is used for installing the facility on the roof 30 which is constituted by placing the waterproofing layer 32 and a thermal insulating layer 34 on the outer surface of a substrate 36. The base 10 is provided with a board 12, a supporting column 16, and a guard 14. The board 12 is fixed on the substrate 36. The supporting column 16, which is provided upright on the board 12 and penetrates both the waterproofing layer 32 and the thermal insulating layer 34, is projected from the top layer, and supports the facility. The guard 14 is attached to the supporting column 16 in parallel with the board 12 at a spacing which corresponds with the thickness of the thermal insulating layer 34.
