摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof layer using soft synthetic resin waterproof sheets capable of preventing any shift of plasticizer, staining of a waterproof sheet caused by volatility, hardening and any decrease in physical properties, and also capable of improving weatherability, enhancing protection against external force, and preventing fire spreading.
SOLUTION: A waterproof sheet 1 is used for forming a waterproof layer directly on a backing surface or by joining it to an insulating layer 4 formed on a backing surface. It has a main layer 2 and a multi-functional protection layer 3 formed as a paint film on the surface of the main layer. The main layer is made of a soft synthetic resin sheet. The multi-functional protection layer offers a non-combustibility capable of preventing blazing up and fire spreading by creating a carbide layer by an ignition. It also offers a function to prevent blazing up by ignition by preventing volatility of plasticizer to the surface, a function to shielding ultraviolet ray, and a physical protecting function all together.

SOLUTION: This waterproof sheet for forming the waterproof layer by joining it to a substrate surface comprises a body layer and a multi-functional protective layer coated on the surface of the body layer. The body layer is formed of the soft vinyl chloride sheet, and the multi-functional protective layer is formed of the waterproof sheet having a plasticizer evaporation prevention function, an ultraviolet shielding function, and a physical protective function and manufactured by:(1) a step for applying a primer on the substrate surface as necessary, (2) a step for bonding the soft vinyl chloride waterproof sheet on the substrate surface, and(3) a step for coating the multi-functional top coat on the surface of the waterproof sheet.The multi-functional top coat is characterized by comprising the plasticizer evaporation prevention function, the ultraviolet shielding function, and the physical protective function.
