    • There is disclosed a honeycomb structure manufacturing method which is capable of efficiently and inexpensively manufacturing a honeycomb structure for preferable use in a filter for trapping particulates in an exhaust gas or the like by use of a long-life grinding member whose satisfactory grinding performance is retained for a long time. The method includes the step of: working an outer periphery of a coarsely shaped honeycomb structure 20 made of a porous ceramic by use of a grinding member 10 to obtain a honeycomb structure 30 having a predetermined shape, wherein diamond abrasive grains of the grinding member 10 have a grain size of 40 to 150 mesh (JIS B 4130 standard) and a concentration degree of 80 or more, and the surfaces of the diamond abrasive grains are coated with at least one selected from the group consisting of Ti, Ni, and Cr.

    • A vehicle seat includes a seat back and a head rest. The seat back has an air blower that is capable of aspirating air, and a blower duct that is capable of introducing the aspirated air toward a blowhole formed in the seat back. The head rest has a head rest main body and a stay attached to the head rest main body. The stay is inserted into the seat back, so that the head rest main body is vertically movably attached to the seat back. The air blower is disposed on the seat back such that a rotation center thereof can be positioned above the level of a terminal end of the stay that is moved to a lowermost position.

    • A collecting unit is disposed on an exhaust passage of a semiconductor processing apparatus to collect by-products contained in an exhaust gas. The collecting unit includes a trap body detachably disposed inside a casing and configured to collect a part of the by-products. The trap body includes fins arrayed in a flow direction of the exhaust gas and having a surface on which a part of the by-products is deposited and trapped. The collecting unit further includes a receiving mechanism disposed inside the casing and configured to receive a part of the by-products that peels off from the trap body or an inner surface of the casing to prevent this part from being deposited on a bottom of the casing. The receiving mechanism is configured to allow a part of the by-products held thereon to be in contact with a cleaning gas from above and from below.
