    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste treatment site which prevents gas produced in a waste layer from being released from the waste layer concerned and puts the inside of the waste layer under an aerobic atmosphere to effectively decompose organic substances.
      SOLUTION: The waste treatment site includes; a gas-collecting pipe 5 which is arranged in the lower parts of the waste layers 10 of the waste treatment site itself which is airtightly covered by an air film structure 2 to keep its inner space 3 at a positive pressure; a sucking device 7 which sucks up the gas in the gas-collecting pipe; a ventilation-regulating valve 6 which is arranged upstream of the sucking device; and gas-discharging pipes 9 which are erected in the waste layers 10 and whose upper end parts open to the inner space 3 and whose lower end parts are connected to the gas-collecting pipe 5 and on whose outer peripheries pore parts 9a opening to the waste layers 10 are formed. In this case, the air in the inner space 3 is discharged, via the gas-collecting pipe 5, from the gas-discharging pipes 9 to the outside, by a ventilation pressurizing device 4, the ventilation-regulating valve 6 and the sucking device 7.
