    • The present invention relates to a communication system (100) for a vehicle with a client-server interface and a method (200) for maximizing engine efficiency through said system. The present invention describes an engagement of the user with a vehicle data by communicating riderDs driving performance in a personal digital assistant (PDA) (1) such as a smartphone by means of said interface with enhanced visual comfort. RiderDs performance level is calculated based on the user driving pattern and is provided as a result to the rider. The interface calculates driving performance by processing vehicle parameters that are captured over a distance using one or more sensors (4) fitted on the vehicle. The interface screen is displayed on the smartphone. The personal digital assistant (PDA) (1) such as the smartphone has a wireless communication link with the vehicle for transferring the vehicle information.

    • The present invention is an access control and speed limiting system for the users of a vehicle. A passcode from a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) is sent to the connected vehicle to unlock. The passcode from the PDA is decoded by a vehicle-mounted electronic control unit, and the passcode undergoes a verification process 6, 7, 8 and 9 for authentication of the user. Each user in a group sharing the same vehicle has a unique and individual passcode. After the authentication of the rider, the electronic control unit assigns the two-wheeler speed limit 10, 11, 12 and13. The design improves rider safety and users feel more secure with a passcode lock and can be applied to any two-wheeled or three-wheeled automobiles. Since the passcode can be entered in the PDA by the user, additional buttons need not be provided on the vehicle.

    • The present invention is for detection of an accident and the necessary emergency control actions for a two-wheeled vehicle. Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) (3) which is a Smartphone or a tablet PC, with an accelerometer (4) and gyroscope sensors (5) are mounted in the vehicle. Fall detection is triggered if the lean angle of the vehicle exceeds a threshold on detection of panic break and engine working condition. The emergency action by the PDA (3) involves sending an SMS to the emergency contact and an emergency call to the contact. The information sent by the vehicle mounted PDA (3) contains latitude and longitude data of the vehicle location which is fetched from the GPS device (2) which is embedded inside the PDA (3). The emergency contact can take immediate actions to save the rider's life after the accident. Thus, rider's safety factor is increased and is suitable for all two-wheeled vehicles.
