    • PURPOSE: To obtain the titled structure without plate ends, by molding a three- dimensional fiber reinforced resin structure using plate ends of a shape memory alloy, and heating or cooling the plate ends thereby constricting and deforming the plate ends followed by removal of the plate ends.
      CONSTITUTION: Plate ends 1 are put in recesses 4 of a zigzag support jig 2, which plate ends 1 are not aligned. A resin impregnated fiber bundle is wound around the plate ends with the bundle through notches 3 in the plate ends. Then the resin impregnated bundle is hardened, and the plate ends 1 are constricted and deformed by cooling or the like to be removed, so that a zigzag three-dimensional structure 5 is molded. The plate ends are made of a so-called two-way type shape memory alloy (e.g. Cu-Al-Ni alloy, Ni-Al alloy, etc.).

    • PURPOSE:To improve torsion strength and rigidity by forming a reinforced body of a steering wheel by caulking the resin-impregnated fiber bundle by a caulking tool of a collar ring and squeezing the fiber bundle to form the fiber bundle having a circular section and heating and hardening the fiber bundle. CONSTITUTION:The raw yarn made of glass fiber is impregnated with epoxy- resin liquid and taken-up onto a taking-up jig. Through the repetition of the above-described taking-up in several times, a reinforced body 2 in the connection of a spoke part 3, ring part 8, and a subring part 9 is formed. Collar rings 10 made of aluminium are installed at the both edges of the spoke part 3, and the fiber bundles of the spoke part 3 are gathered by caulking or squeezing so that the circular section is obtained. The above-described fiber bundle is formed into the reinforced body 2 through heating treatment. Said reinforced body 2 is covered with urethane resin to form a steering wheel.

    • PURPOSE: To enhance the weight saving effect and at the same time contrive to improve the reliability on a product as a whole by a method wherein un-vulcanized rubber is filled between a fiber reinforced plastic structural body fixed by continuous fiber bundle impregnated with resin and a ring-shaped member in order to be vulcanized.
      CONSTITUTION: An arm main body 1 equipped with bushing holes 2 is formed by laminating continuous fiber bundle consisting impregnating continuous fiber such as carbon fiber, glass fiber, Kevlar or the like with resin such as epoxy resin or the like onto a fiber reinforced plastic core body having the predetermined shape. A steel ring 3 is arranged in each bushing hole 2 of the arm main body at the position concentric to the bushing hole 2 and fixed in the space of the bushing hole 2 by connecting the arm main body 1 and the steel ring 3 with continuous fiber bundle 5 while keeping the positional relationship between the bushing hole 2 and the steel ring 3 unchanged. After that, rubber 4 is poured in the regional part between the arm main body 1 and the steel ring 3 and vulcanized. The structure of the rubber bushing part is made highly rigid because the continuous fiber bundle 5 is imbedded in the rubber 4 and no fear of separating the rubber 4 from the arm main body exits.

Fluid is introduced in the bag body and the bag body is formed into a spherical shape. A continuously formed lint bundle, wherein a resin is made to impregnate, is wound around the winding part 3 of the bag body 7 formed into a spherical shape and is made to harden to obtain a spherical frame 10. Moreover, the frame 10 is released from the winding part of the bag body after the fluid is made to exhaust from the bag body 7. By this way, the manufacture of the fiber reinforced three-dimensional resin structural body becomes possible. This manufacturing method can be applied to the manufacture of an automotive body frame and so forth.
