摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the falling of a spring without regulating the mutual rotation of members such as a retainer by providing an inclination regulating means for a coil spring on the retainer, and making the retainer rotatable relatively to a reaction member. SOLUTION: An inclination regulating means 51 for regulating the twisting around a shaft 11 of a coil spring 3 is formed of a pin fixed to a retainer 5 in the manner of rivet, and fixed on the retainer 5 on the bore side of the coil spring 3. The retainer 5 makes contact with a hydraulic servo piston 40 as reaction member in such a manner as to be relatively rotatable. When the rotation displacement of the retainer 5 is gradually accumulated by the repeated operation of the hydraulic servo 4 to increase the inclination of the spring ring 3, the reaction added to the pin 51 is increased, and when the reverse rotating directional force of the retainer 5 by it exceeds the frictional force, the retainer 5 is rotated to a snap ring 41 to release the reaction stored in the spring 3. Thus, falling of the spring 3 can be prevented.

The pressure regulating valve 25 comprises a valve body 250; an input port 254 coupled to an oil passage 201d; an output port 255 coupled to an oil passage 201e; and a discharge port 257. The valve body 250 comprises a pressure receiving surface A1 on which a feedback pressure is applied; a pressure receiving surface A2 on which a signal pressure (PSLU) is applied; and a pressure receiving surface A3 having size larger than that of the pressure receiving surface A2 . A signal pressure is always applied on the pressure receiving surface A3 by a signal pressure generating means and meanwhile, by selectively applying a signal pressure on the pressure receiving surface A2 , the output gain of the pressure regulating valve is varied.

When the speed change output into the third gear stage from the second gear stage is output, the forward range pressure PD is supplied into an accumulator 100, and a brake B2 is engaged. Simultaneously, operating oil of the brake B3 and the B3 accumulator 94 is drained, so as to release the brake B3. When the judgement of the speed change into the third gear stage is performed in the way of the formation of the second gear stage, operating oil is filled into the B3 accumulator 94, and then the pressure governing drain action by a 2-3 timing valve 98 is started.

The pressure characteristics of the pressure control mechanism 3 is altered by a pressure control characteristic alter means 6 in such a way that the engaging pressure of the friction engagement means 2 becomes high when the blow-up of the engine E is detected, and also in such a way that the engaging pressure of the friction engagement means 2 becomes low when tie-ups are detected.

Therefore, when the shift lever is to be actuated from a D range to the (3) range or the (2) range, no shift clown operation to the highest acceleration step of gear shifting takes place in a range of speed change corresponding to an engine brake range before the actual vehicle speed V becomes lower than the judging reference value B or A.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly converge vibration and improve sound eliminating effect by pressure welding or sticking a damping member on the inside or outside of a drum-like member within a transmission. SOLUTION: The rotating vibration is generated in the engaging surface between a frictional material 4 on a brake hub 3 side connected to a carrier as rotating element and a separator plate 2 on a transmission case 1 side by the play between the claw part and groove part of the spline engagement part of the separator plate 2 by a static slip. This rotating vibration is transmitted to a piston 6 for pressing the separator plate 2. Therefore, an annular elastomer 81 is integrated near the end surface of the major diameter part 61, which forms the maximum amplitude part in vibration, on the inside of the piston 6 as the drum-like member in the state where an initial stress is loaded between the piston 6 and a rigid ring 82. Thus, the annular elastomer 81 is deformed according to the radial expanding and contracting deformation of the major diameter part 61 to change vibration to thermal energy, whereby vibration energy can be damped.

SOLUTION: An automatic transmission is equipped with a valve body 1 having an exhaust hole 11 for a returning working oil which was supplied to various parts of the transmission, an oil reservoir 3 to capture the return oil exhausted, and a strainer 2 which has a suction port 21 confronting the oil reservoir 3 and filtrates the working oil sucked up from the reservoir 3 for circulation. The exhaust hole 11 is fitted with a guide means which leads the return oil in the direction along the surface of the working oil captured by the reservoir 3 and precludes wave formation originating from falling of the return oil onto the oil surface.
