    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor having no gap between an insertion hole in itself and a magnet, and to provide a method of a manufacturing the rotor.
      SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing a rotor 1 comprises the first process of manufacturing a resin-covered magnet 2 for insertion which has sectional area larger than the sectional area of at least an insertion hole 12 by forming a cover layer 22 around the magnet 21, and the second process of inserting the resin-covered magnet 2 for insertion into the insertion hole 12, while shaving the periphery of the cover layer 22 for insertion with the edge part of the insertion hole 12. In the first process, a cover layer is formed by electrodeposition. This layer is such that the cover layer 22 is provided with a rib 23, extending in the direction of insertion and that a cut 12, to be engaged with the rib 23, is bored in the insertion hole 12.
