    • PURPOSE:To eliminate the unstability of welding work in a short circuit transfer arc welding machine by comparing the detected value of the voltage between a wire and base metals with the prescribed voltage, and controlling the electric charge quantity in the arc discharge period in accordance with the compared value thereby controlling the voltage so as to attain the prescribed value. CONSTITUTION:In a short circuit transfer arc welding mchine which performs welding by repeating short circuit and arc discharge between wire electrode 7 and base metals 10, the electric charge quantity of the current flowing in the arc period is changed over according to the feed rate (v) of the wire 7, and the electric charge quantity of the current is so corrected that an average welding voltage V attains the prset reference average value. In spite of vertical oscillating of a torch 9, the welding is accomplished always in the costant short circuit periods and therefore the influence of hand shaking, etc., is eliminated. In this way, the wire 7 is fed to the torch 9 by a feed motor 8, the leading end of the molten wire electrode 7a is short-circuited to the base metals 10, and the current is supplied until the next regeneration of the arc, whereby the transfer of the molten wire electrode to the base metals 10 is accomplished stably.

    • PURPOSE: To apply proper quantity of heat input over the entire welding current range by generating the timing pulses synchronized with AC input, dividing down the frequencies thereof to meet the feed speed of a wire, and generating the trigger pulses synchronized with these.
CONSTITUTION: The clock pulses regulating the generation times of trigger pulses (thyristor 71W76) emitted from a trigger circuit 10 are generated by a clock pulse generating circuit 11. Such clock pulses are conducted to a frequency dividing circuit 12, by which the number of pulse is thinned out in such a way that the trigger pulses are generated from the trigger circuit at the frequencies corresponding to the wire feed speed. A switching element is conducted and controlled by such trigger pulses. Thereby, the number of the pulses generated per unit time can be changed and good welded beads are easily obtained.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a pulse arc welding machine which is easy to form pulse waveforms, is small in power source capacity and permits setting of a capacitor at low withstand voltage by connecting a capacitor for forming pulsewaveforms between the output terminals of a DC power source. CONSTITUTION:A wire 10 is fed 11 in the direction of base metals 12; at the same time, switching elements 5, 6 are turned on by control circuits 14, 15, to generate the arc between the wire 10 and the base metals 12, whereby the base metals 12 are welded. Base current is detected 92, and the element 6 is turned on and off by the circuit 15, so that the base current is fixed always at an approximately constant value. Pulselike current is detected 91, and the element 5 is turned on and off by the circuit 14 so that the peak current values attains a prescribed value and so that the correct pulse periods are obtained according to the feed speed of the wire 10. Immediately after the elements 5, 6 are turned on and off, the current is reflowed by way of a flywheel diode 81 or 82, a DC reactor 71 or 72, the wire 10, the welding arc 13 and the base metals 12.

    • PURPOSE:To eliminate unstable phenomena owing to fluctuations in arc length and to perform adequate welding by detecting base voltage and determining the differential voltage from a target value thereby changing pulse peak current in a manner as to eliminate the differential voltage and maintaining the base voltage at a prescribed value. CONSTITUTION:When the arc is generated upon starting of welding, the base voltage in the arc is detected by a base voltage detecting circuit 101, and is coneucted to a comparator 103, where it is compared with the target base voltage of a base votage command circuit 105. The differential value thereof is inputted to a pulse width setting circuit 113, by which the pulse width is changed by the circuit 112 in such a manner that the output of the circuit 105 and the base voltage in the arc are made equal, whereby the base voltage is controlled so as to be kept at a prescribed value at all times and the unstable phenomena accompanied with the fluctuation in the arc length occuring in hand shaking are eliminated.

    • PURPOSE:To make base current small, and auxiliary power source compact and inexpensive by making output voltage at the no-load of the auxiliary power source high. CONSTITUTION:The firing time of a thyristor 9 is so adjusted with a dial 11 as to attain more than the critical current value Ic shifting to globule to be determined by the quality of base metals 7 and the diameter of a consumable electrode 4. Thence, the feed speed of the consumable electrode 4 to be determined by the thickness of the base metals 7 and the diameter of the consumable electrode 4 is adjusted with a dial 20. The dial 20 also permits adjustment of the number of pulses per unit time according to the feed speed simultaneously with the feed speed of the consumable electrode 4. The welding method is changed by changing the number of pulses per unit time without changing the firing time of the thyristor 9, according to the thickness of the base metals 7 or the feed speed of the consumable electrode 4. With this method, it does not depend upon the thicknesses of the base metals 7, the globules fixed to relatively small globule diameters drop, arc breakage is difficult to occur, hence, the base current supplied from the auxiliary power source 2 is sufficient with small current.

    • PURPOSE:To always obtain a heated fluid of a predetermined temperature by a method wherein the supply and cut-off of a heated fluid into a heating pipe is effected through a solenoid valve, while the opening of the valve is interlocked with a heated fluid temperature detecting circuit and the closing of the valve is interlocked with a delay circuit for a delay relative to a power source on-off switch. CONSTITUTION:With an on-off switch 37 closed and a heated fluid heated by a glow discharge heating pipe 1, a temperature sensor 12 detects the temperature of the heated fluid with a delay of predetermined length of time. With the detected temperature approaching close to a predetermined temperature, a temperature detecting circuit 33 makes output terminals 34 and 35 conductive, relays 27 and 27a of the first switching means operate to open solenoid valve 32, the heated fluid flows into the discharge heating pipe 1, and a heated fluid of a predetermined temperature is delivered from an outlet pipe 15 from the biginning. Thereafter, opening of the switch 37 stops the main glow discharge, a switch 38 is turned off, the solenoid valve 32 is closed with a predetermined delay, and the heated fluid is kept below a predetermined temperature.

    • PURPOSE:In an above-titled heater, to enable the circuit operations with only one high-voltage generator circuit by connecting m pieces of thyristors in parallel with the output side of a high-voltage generator circuit and connecting them to corresponding auxiliary electrodes. CONSTITUTION:Slightly before the voltage applied across main elctrodes 1A and 1B reaches the minimum glow discharge sustaining voltage Vo, a gate voltage is applied to a thyristor Sa to turn it on and a high-voltage pulse is fed from a high-voltage generator circuit 14 to an auxiliary electrode 11a. With the thyristor Sa conducting, a pilot glow discharge develops between the main electrode 1A and the auxiliary electrode 11a. With the voltage across the main electrodes 1A and 1B reaching Vo, a glow discharge develops between the main electrodes 1A and 1B. With the voltage across the main electrodes 1A and 1B growing above Vo, the glow discharge serves as a pilot golw discharge to develop a glow discharge between the main electrodes 1A and 1C, with the former electrode 1A working as the cathode.
