    • PURPOSE: A contactless power transmitting device is provided to efficiently transmit power by calculating the distance between a first resonant coil and a second resonant coil through a distance calculation part. CONSTITUTION: A contactless power transmitting device comprises an AC power source(11), a first coil(12), a first resonant coil(13), a second resonant coil(21), a second coil(22), a voltage measurement part, and a distance calculation part. The AC voltage of the AC power source is applied to the first coil. The second coil is connected to a load. The voltage measurement part measures the voltage of the first coil. The distance calculation part calculates the distance between the first resonant coil and the second resonant coil based on a voltage which is measured with the voltage measurement part. The second resonant coil, the second coil, and the load are installed in a moving body.
