摘要： A catalyst for purification of exhaust gas comprising: a support made of a metal oxide; and metal particles supported on the support, wherein the metal particles are made of a solid solution of at least one first metal selected from the group consisting of Pt, Ag, Mn, Fe and Au with at least one second metal selected from the group consisting of Pd, Rh, Ir and Ru, an average primary particle diameter of the metal particles is 1.5 nm or less, and a standard deviation in metal composition ratio of each primary particle of the metal particles is 10% or less.

摘要： An exhaust gas purification catalyst includes: a support formed of alumina and yttria; and platinum and palladium that are supported on the support. An yttria content in the support is 2 mass% to 15 mass%. A content ratio of the platinum to the palladium is in a range of 1 to 10 by mass ratio. At least a portion of the platinum and at least a portion of the palladium constitute a solid solution. A diffraction peak of a (311) plane of a crystal including the platinum, the palladium and the solid solution is present at 81.5° or higher in a range of 81.2° to 82.1°, the diffraction peak being identified by an X-ray diffraction method using CuKα rays.

摘要： Provided is a catalyst for purification of exhaust gas which has sufficiently high oxidation activities on CO, HC, and the like at low temperatures and keeps the sufficiently high oxidation activities on CO, HC, and the like even when the catalyst is exposed to high temperatures or to exhaust gas containing a sulfur component. The catalyst for purification of exhaust gas comprises:
a support comprising alumina, yttria, and titania; and
a noble metal supported on the support, wherein
based on a total amount of alumina, yttria, and titania in the support,
the yttria content is 0.7 to 35% by mass,
the titania content is 0.3 to 24% by mass, and
the alumina content is 50 to 98% by mass, and

a content ratio, that is yttrium:titanium, between the yttria and the titania in the support is within a range of 90:10 to 20:80 based on an atomic ratio of the metal elements.
