摘要： Method and apparatus for automatic assembling of a differential gear device, wherein a pair of pinions (36) are introduced by a pinion support device (104) into the chamber of a differential case (10) through respective openings (48) formed through the case, and the pinions are rotatably held between a pair of side gears (32) disposed within the chamber, at respective symmetrical positions which are symmetrical with each other with respect to an axis of rotation of the side gears, so that the pinions are brought into meshing engagement with the side gears by a gear meshing device (64, 104) while one (32D) of the side gears is rotated about its axis by a rotating device (74) and while the pinions are held at the respective symmetrical positions.

摘要： The invention relates to a method and an apparatus for for assembling a differential gear device (10). The inventive method comprises a step of holding a pair of pinions (36L,36R) and respective washers (60L,60R) by means of a first holder (154,156), with the washers being in contact with the respective pinions, and introducing the pinions into the differential case in order to achieve a meshing engagement of the pinions with differential side gears arranged in the case. The holder and the case are then rotated relative to each other in order to rotate the pinions and the case relative to each other. After the first holder (154,156) has released the pinions, a second holder (106,111) is brought into engagement with the washers and pinions and is rotated, in order to rotate the pinions and the case relative to each other into a position in which a pinion shaft can be inserted into the case and the pinions with washers. Further, an apparatus is described for performing the method described above.
