    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a porous hydrogen storage material having sufficiently high hydrogen storage quantity per unit weight at around room temperature, capable of storing/releasing sufficient quantity of hydrogen at low temperature, and to provide a three dimensional polymer complex useful for such a hydrogen storage material. SOLUTION: A first organic ligand expressed by formula (1), metal atom, and a second organic ligand having an atom capable of being coordinated to the metal atom capable of bidentate coordination are bonded three dimensionally to form the three dimensional polymer complex, and the porous hydrogen storage material is made of the above complex. In the formula, R denotes a heterocycle chosen from a group of tetrazene, triazine, quinoxaline, 1,5-naphthyridine, phenazine, pyridazine, pyrimidine, phthalazine, quinazoline, pyrazole, imidazole, oxazole, thiazole, quinoline, 1,9,10-Antilysin, 9a-azaphenalene, heptaazaphenalene, and perimidine, and n is an integer of 1 to 3.
