摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vane pump causing no seizure between a rotor and a side plate. SOLUTION: In a vane pump having an inner circumferential space of a cam ring with end surface parted by a side plate 2 parted by plural vanes 5 provided on an outer circumference of a rotation rotor 3 to form a pump chamber for performing pump action by change of a volume of the pump chamber by rotation of the rotor 3, the side plate 2 comprises a metal base plate, and an abrasion-resistant coating member integrally formed on the surface of the metal base plate at least where the rotor 3 and the vane 5 slide to get in contact with it. This abrasion-resistant coating member contains 26-80 wt.% silicon(Si), and other additive components as desired, the rest comprises aluminum(Al) and unavoidable impurities, Si is in the form of particulates, their average grain size is 0.01 μm or more and less than 10 μm, it is solid- solved by 3 wt.% or more in an Al matrix, and it has a composition dispersed in the Al matrix.

This casting comprises a hardness material part 1, a casting part 2 for holding the high hardness material part 1, and a diffusion layer 3 for jointing an element material constituting the high hardness material part 1 and a material constituting the casting 2 at a boundary part of the high hardness material part 1 and the casting part 2. Then, the high hardness material part 1 and the casting part are integrally jointed.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable manufacturing of a composite casting for heightening abrasion resistance and lubricity without deteriorating cutting workability of a casting, reduce its costs, and restrain distortion caused by thermal stress. SOLUTION: This method comprises the step (101) of manufacturing a pattern of a shape corresponding to a casting from an evaporative material, the step (103) wherein different kind materials which are different in mechanical property from a main body part exist and are adhered at one part on the surface of the pattern, the step (104) of pouring the pattern after the different kind material is adhered into a mold, and the step (106). In the step (106), a molten metallic material for forming the main body part is poured into the mold, and the pattern in the mold is evaporated, so as to replace a space occupied with the pattern with the molten metal. Then, different kind surface parts comprising a main body part of the molten metal replaced up to more than thickness to be removed by machine processing after manufacturing of the casting and the different kind material different in a mechanical property, are placed at one part on the surface of the main body part.
