    • PURPOSE:To individually and freely determine both vacuum capacity and compressive capacity by forming an inner circumferential surface on a vacuum side having a shape corresponding to the vacuum capacity and an inner circumferential surface on a compressive side having a shape corresponding to the compressive capacity in the inner circumferential surface where the tip end of each vane is brought into contact. CONSTITUTION:The tip end of each vane 4 is moved according to the rotation of a rotor 1 in contact with an inner circumferential surface 14 on a vacuum side. Pressure chambers 12 divided by the vanes 4 are expanded or contracted corresponding to the shape of the inner circumferential surface on the vacuum side so that gas is sucked from a first suction port 18 at the vacuum capacity corresponding to the shape. The tip end of each vane 4 is moved in contact with an inner circumferential surface 16 on a compressive side. The pressure chambers 12 are expanded or contracted corresponding to the shape of the inner circumferential surface on the compressive side so that gas is sucked and compressed from a second suction port 22 at the compressive capacity corresponding the shape. The compressed gas is discharged from an outlet 24. Therefore, the shape of the inner circumferential surface 12 on the vacuum side can be determined according to the vacuum capacity, and moreover, the shape of the inner circumferential surface 16 on the compressive side can be determined according to the compressive capacity.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the performance by arranging, on almost concentric with the inner circumferential surface, ring shaped members, in contact with each end part of a plurality of vanes which are slidably inserted in the diameter direction of a rotor, which apply force to each of the vanes to the direction outside the rotor so as to bring the vanes into certain contact with the inner circumferential surface. CONSTITUTION:On both the sides of a rotor 1, insertion holes 12 and 14 which are concentric with the rotation center a are formed communicated to each of sliding grooves 4. Ring shaped members 16 and 18 which are in contact with each of end parts 6b of a plurality of vanes 6 are inserted into these insertion holes 12 and 14. These ring shaped members 16 and 18 are provided with a ring shaped holding member 20, a coil spring 24 is inserted into a holding hole 22, and a ring shaped belt 26 having flexibility is engaged with the outer circumference of the holding member 20. During rotation of the rotor 1, the vane 6 relatively slides in the sliding groove 4. At this time force is applied to each of the vanes 6 through the ring shaped belt 26 by the applied force of the coil spring 24 in the direction of the rotor 1 diameter, and a tip end 6a of each of the vanes 6 is brought into contact with an inner circumferential surface 8 regardless of magnitude of centrifugal force generated at each of the vanes 6.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain adequate vacuum and discharge pressures despite of a compact size by setting distances where first and second suction ports are intercommunicated to pressure chambers at 2 pitches or more, intercommunicating the first suction port to the pressure chambers over 1 pitch or more in an expansion process, and setting a distance between an outlet and the second suction port at 2 pitches or more. CONSTITUTION:Pressure chambers 10 are contracted according to the rotation of a rotor 1, and a first suction port 12 is intercommunicated over 2 pitches or more of the pressure chambers 10 and vanes 4. In an expansion process, the suction port 12 is intercommunicated to the pressure chambers 10 over 1 pitch or more so that sufficient gas is sucked into the pressure chambers 10. Gas to be compressed can be increased in compressive pressure to be discharged from an outlet 14. In addition, since a distance between the outlet 14 and a second suction port 16 is twice as long as the pitch of the vanes 4, any leak of gas from the outlet 14 to the second suction port 16 can be restricted despite of a large difference in pressure, thereby preventing deterioration in the vacuum pressure of the second suction port 16. Moreover, the second suction port 16 is intercommunicated over 2 or more pitches of the pressure chambers 10 and the vanes 4 so that the gas can be sufficiently sucked from the second suction port 16 to the pressure chambers 10, thus enhancing the vacuum pressure of the second suction port 16.

CONSTITUTION:A vane pump according to the present invention has a rotor 1 accommodated in a housing 10 having a cylindrical inner surface 8 in such a way as capable of rotating in eccentricity, wherein a number of vanes 6 are fitted on the rotor 1 in such a way as possible to advance and retreat. The pressure of fluid sucked in from a suction hole is boosted with rotation of this rotor 1, and the fluid is discharged from a discharge hole. A supply hole 58 in connection with a lubricant supplying source is formed in a side wall member 36, and No.1 and No.2 divergent hole 60, 62 are bored while leading to this supply hole 58. The other end of this No.1 divergent hole 60 opens in the position mating with a notch 46 in a rotary shaft 2, and this opening is opened and shut with rotation of the rotary shaft 2. The No.2 divergent hole 62 opens at the side face 36a of the side wall member 36 through a communication hole furnished with a check valve 72.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combined solenoid selector valve capable of quickly detecting an exhaust failure from an exhaust chamber to a low pressure side, as well as of detecting mismatching operation of two main valves.
      SOLUTION: Operation detecting members 27, 28 are provided at the axial ends of the two main valves 8, 9 movably in the axial direction, and both operation detecting members 27, 28 are energized to be moved integrally with the main valves 8, 9 in the axial direction by springs 29, 30 so that they can freely abut on the axial ends of the main valves 8, 9. The operation detecting members 27, 28 are subjected to working force based on the pressure of compressed air on the side of the exhaust chamber E1 via flow paths 36, 37 against the elastic force of the springs 29, 30. When the operation detecting members 27, 28 are subjected to the working force based on the pressure of compressed air on the side of the exhaust chamber E1, exceeding the elastic force of the springs 29, 30, the operation detecting members 27, 28 are isolated from both main valves 8, 9 to approach nearby switches 31, 32 so that the adjacent switches 31, 32 are turned on to detect an exhaust failure.
