    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce any load in the time of starting as well as to facilitate a valve characteristic variation by fully opening this valve in time of nonenergizing of a magnetic coil, making compressor discharge side pressure act on the upper and lower sides of a valve element, and altering the diameter of a compensation pin installed in space between a discharge side pressure inlet port and a pressure sensitive regulator. SOLUTION: In time of nonenergizing of a magnetic coil 15, downward energizing force of a plunger spring 4 working on a valve part 8 is smaller than the upward energizing force of a valve spring 9, so that a valve 1 is fully opened. At that time, a compressor is in a state of full-unload operation, whereby a bellows 11 is contracted, and thus the underside of a valve stem 8b separates from a compensation pin 10. When being energized with current, a connecting rod 6 goes down according to a current value and thereby the valve 1 is closed. Then, compressor discharge side pressure acts on the upper and lower sides of a valve element 8a after passing through an internal equalizing hole 17g, and the valve 1 operates irrespective of a pressure differential between the discharge side of a compressor and the inside of a room. At that time, since the compensation pin 10 makes its compensating froce work on the bellows 11, a diameter of this compensation pin 10 is clanged, thereby changing a valve characteristic.
