    • PURPOSE:To eliminate risk of liquid leak, allow the natural frequency to be set high, and eatablish a wide range vibration isolating function by furnishing the first and second liquid chambers in a vibration isolation base and a movable part, installing two pistons having different diameters in the displacement enlarging mechanism of the movable part, and forming the pistons so that their ratio of effective areas has a certain specific value. CONSTITUTION:The space in a vibration isolating base 18 is divided in the first and the second liquid chamber 28, 30, and they are put in communication by a circumferential orifice 32. The vibration of a ceramic actuator 40 is amplified by a major diametric piston 42 in a casing 36, and then a movable plate 24 is driven by a minor diametric piston 46. The effective area ratio n0 of the two pistons should meet the condition n0=(beta+(alpha+beta ) )/alpha. Therein alpha=Ka+(K'0+K1)a /(Kb+Kp)-beta=K0aA0u/(Kpdelta), where Ka is spring constant of minor piston rubber and precompressing spring, Kb is spring constant of major piston rubber, Kp and delta are the spring constant and displacement amplitude of the ceramic actuator, K0 and K1 are the volume moduli of elasticity of the first and second liquid chambers, (a) is the effective area of the movable part, (u) is input displacement amplitude, and A0 is the effective piston area of the vibration isolating base.

    • PURPOSE:To realize a large displacement conversion rate with a simple construction without a lever, a fulcrum, and liquid seal, by driving an intermediate wedge member through an inclined-face member by means of an actuator arranged inside a case, and hence operating a plurality of wedge mechanisms. CONSTITUTION:In a vibrationproof device interposed between a vibrating body 1 and a body 2 to be vibrated, an actuator 4 is arranged inside a case 3, and an inclined-face member 6 is arranged on one end side of this. An intermediate wedge member 7 is arranged between the inclined face 14 of the inclined-face member 6 on the opposite side and a holding member 8. Further a journal member 9 having wedge faces contacting with the wedge faces of the intermediate wedge member 7 is arranged so as to project from the opening end 15 of the case 3. Hereby a first wedge mechanism is out of the respective members 6, 7, 8, a second wedge mechanism is out of the respective members 7, 9, respectively constituted, and both the wedge mechanisms are connected together through the intermediate wedge member 7. The intermediate wedge member 7 is driven by means of the actuator 4 through the inclined-face member 6.
