摘要： The present invention is a packaging material composed of a thermoplastic polyester as a constituent material. By adjusting the contents of a dibasic carboxylic acid and its oligomer derived from the polyester to 500 ppm or less, and adjusting sodium to 6 ppm or less and all alkali metals to 30 ppm or less, especially 20 ppm or less, the flavor retention of the packaging material can be markedly increased.

摘要： The present invention relates to a stretch molded structure obtained by stretch molding a polyester composition containing a thermoplastic polyester (A) comprising an ethylene terephthalate unit as a main component and a thermoplastic polyester (B) comprising a butylene terephthalate unit as a main component in an A : B weight ratio of from 99.9 : 0.1 to 91 : 9. This stretch molded structure has a decreased stress at the time of stretch molding, and excellent shape appearance. At the same time, it has reduced residual stress, and excellent heat resistance. In addition, it has excellent transparency, mechanical strength and dimensional stability. Furthermore, when this stretch molded structure is used in a heat-resistant container in which at least the body portion is heat-set and the mouth portion or the mouth portion and the center of the bottom portion are heat-crystallized, high producibility can be obtained and the heat-resistance can be markedly increased.

摘要： In preparing the draw-blow-formed polyester vessel, the inner surface and outer surface temperatures of a starting preform are adjusted at specific levels at the preliminary heating step, and the drawing speed in the circumferential direction is adjusted at a level of at least 350 %/sec and a specific relation is established between the area draw ratios on the inner and outer surface sides at the draw-blowing step. A polyester vessel having a reduced shrinkage with time and a high pressure-resistant strength is obtained according to this process.

摘要： Vessel is made of styrene resin and is coated on at least one surface with a layer of vinylidene chloride resin. The vinylidene chloride resin layer is composed of a three component copolymer, of vinylidene chloride 96-70 mol%), vinyl chloride (3-30 mol%) and an acrylate- or methacrylate-low carbon number alkyl ester (3-20 mol%). The styrene resin vessel and the vinylidene chloride layer are bound tightly together with a layer of styrene resin oxide. The delamination strength between the vessel and the coated layer, when they are soaked in water at 5 deg.C for a week, is specified to be 100g/18mm width or more. The styrene resin is a copolymer of styrene (99-70 mol%) and butadiene (1-30 mol%). The vinylidene chloride resin coating layer is specified to have a glass transition temp. of 6-18 deg.C and a dynamic elasticity of 2-4 x 10 power 10 dyne/cm2 at 10 deg.C and 110 Hz. The styrene resin oxide layer is specified in that its X-ray photo electron spectrum has an Ols peak between the bonding energies 532.6 and 533.6 eV. This coated styrene vessel is produced by oxidising at least one side with a water-soluble latex of the coating vinylidene resin and drying.

摘要： Disclosed is a plastic vessel excellent in the storability, which comprises a plastic vessel substrate provided with a layer of a resin composed mainly of an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer, and a coating layer formed on at least one surface of the plastic vessel substrate, said coating layer being composed mainly of a copolymer consisting essentially of 99 to 70% by weight of vinylidene chloride and 1 to 30% by weight of at least one acrylic or methacrylic monomer and further including up to 100 parts by weight of at least one member selected from other ethylenically unsaturated monomers per 100 parts by weight of the total amount of said two monomers, said copolymer having an oxygen permeability constant of less than 9 x 10 cc.cm/cm .sec.cmHg as measured at a temperature of 20 DEG C and a relative humidity of 100 and a water vapor permeability constant of less than 3 x 10 g.cm/m . day as determined according to the method of JIS Z-0208. This plastic vessel is excellent in the ultraviolet ray barrier property and gas barrier property. If the vinylidene chloride copolymer coating is formed on the ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer layer, the oxygen permeability constant is improved.

摘要： Disclosed is a process for the preparation of a coated oriented plastic container, which comprises coating an aqueous latex or organic solvent solution of a vinylidene chloride copolymer on at least one surface of a parison, preform or sheet for formation of container which is formed by hot molding of a molecularly orientable thermoplastic resin, drying the coated parison, preform or sheet to form a coating layer, and subjecting the formed coated structure to draw molding such as biaxial draw blow molding or draw forming, wherein the coating layer of the vinylidene chloride copolymer is crystallized at the step of forming the coating layer or the draw molding step. In the coated oriented plastic container prepared according to this process, the adhesion of the coating layer of the vinylidene chloride copolymer to the plastic container substrate is highly improved, and even under severe conditions, peeling of the coating layer is prevented. Moreover, the gas barrier property, strength and chemical resistance of the container are prominently improved.
