摘要： PURPOSE: To provide a ball valve that is unnecessary for its disassembling and washing so frequently, and has no adverse effect on product quality, also less in trouble, in addition to being excellent in operability. CONSTITUTION: This ball valve 1, interrupting a fluid passage and/or adjusting a flow rate in this passage, is provided with a valve chest 9, a valve disk 10 being situated in this valve chest 9 and having a flow passage 12, where a fluid flows through, a pair of ring valve seat 20 holding this valve disk 10 between, and an operating rod 21 rotating and operating this valve disk 10, respectively. In this constitution, the valve disk 10 is of polyhedral spherical segmental body cut by both parallel and orthogonal planes at the flow passage 12, and it is provided with two interconnecting holes 15 and 16 interconnecting the valve chest 9 and the flow passage 12 installed in the axial direction (23) of the operating rod 21 orthogonal with this passage 12 on surfaces excepting a contact surface 13 of the valve disk 10, where this disk 10 and the valve seat 20 are contacted with each other in time of interrupting the passage and a cut-off surface 14 of the valve disk 10 interrupting the passage.
