摘要： A printer has a shift register, an emission-time setting section, a laser diode, and a drive section. The register supplies the emission-time setting section with bits representing consecutive pixels including at least one black pixel. The emission-time setting section determines the period of time during which the drive section is to drive the laser diode, from the pixel patterns represented by the bits supplied from the register, and outputs an emission-time signal which represents said period of time. In response to the emission-time signal, the drive section drives the laser diode for the period of time, whereby a black pixel of a desired size is formed on a printing medium.

摘要： A communication terminal apparatus connected to a communication network through a data channel for transfer of such data as line transaction data or packet transaction data and through a signal channel for control of a call to a communication destination party. Communication terminal apparatuses including such a communication terminal apparatus are connected to the communication network and subscriber numbers are usually previously designated, as identification data, to all subscribers of the communication network and as necessary, address data (referred to as subaddresses) arbitrarilyset among some of these subscribers are attached to the some subscriber numbers. These subscriber numbers and subaddresses are transmitted and received through the signal channel separately from transaction data transmitted and recieved through the data channel. The present apparatus fundamentally performs predetermined control operations which includes the following a) to c), depending on whether or not the then received subscriber number (subaddress, if necessary) coincides with one of the previously registered subscriber numbers (subaddresses): a) Grants or rejects the reception of the associated transaction data. b) Automatically transmits the assocaited transaction data to another communication terminal. c) Displays such auxiliary data such as previously registered subscriber's name corresponding to the subscriber number.

摘要： A facsimile apparatus of the type which is connected to a digital line and which has the function of automatically informing a particular destination terminal of the reception of a facsimile signal from a distant terminal. In the apparatus, identification information on a particular facsimile apparatus and a telephone number of a destination terminal are previously stored in a memory unit. During the reception of a facsimile signal, the apparatus detects an identification information of a distant terminal which is transmitted therefrom over a digital line. If it is determined that the detected identification information corresponds to the identification information stored in the memory unit, the facsimile apparatus automatically originates a call on the basis of the telephone number of the destination terminal which is stored in the memory unit and sends to the destination terminal a message stating that a facsimile signal has been received from the particular facsimile apparatus. In another form of facsimile apparatus, a telephone number of a destination terminal is previously stored in the memory unit. This form of facsimile apparatus is arranged to automatically originates, if a facsimile signal is received over a first channel of the digital line, a call on the basis of the telephone number stored in the memory unit and sends a message stating that a facsimile signal has been received to the destination terminal over a second channel of the digital line.

摘要： PURPOSE:To improve the operability of the device by changing the absence mode into the attended reception mode when a prescribed input is searched from an input section and a prescribed input exists so as to attain the intervention of the operator even at the absence reception mode. CONSTITUTION:A telephone set 4, an input section 5, a display section 6, and a hard copy device 7 as a recording section are connected to a control section 3 having a processor function of the device for conversation by means of writing possible for absence reception. Moreover, a line 1 is connected to the control section 3 via an absence reception function section 2 and the function section 2 is provided with a call signal detecting section and a response message transmission section. The control section 3 searches the presence of the input from the input section 5. Further, a dial number of an incoming side is transmitted from the transmission side and a response message is returned automatically from the incoming side, then the chageover of the attended reception mode is attained by the switch operation at the transmission side, and the changeover to the communication of conversation by means of writing is attained also at the incoming side after the transmission of the response message, thereby improving the operability of the device.
