摘要： A full automatic washing machine includes an outer tub, a rotatable tub rotatably mounted in the outer tub, an agitator rotatably mounted in the rotatable tub and an electric motor for driving the rotatable tub and the agitator. The volume of clothes accommodated in the rotatable tub is detected. Further, a second engagement means 48 is constituted of the projecting part 43a of the changeover member 39 and a hole 45 in a base. Normally, the first engagement means 47 is disengaged and the second engagement means 48 is engaged by rotating the changeover member 39 upward under the described state. Unless the engagement is made, i.e., when the clutched state is not switched, the lead switch 52 is not turned ON and in this case, water is supplied into a rotary tank by a control circuit.

CONSTITUTION:When dehydrating operation is manually executed, particularly, only the draining is desired to be executed, the dehydration selecting key of a control panel is operated to select dehydrating process and set dehydrating time, and a start key is then operated as a lid is still opened. A microcomputer 32 sets the time from the point of time at a reset water level to the start of turning on a motor in a time counting draining counter longer than in the execution of washing course. To 20 seconds in non-manual case, for example, it is set to 60 seconds in manual case. Thus, the motor 20 starts to rotate after the level detected by a draining sensor 12 is lowered to the reset water level to execute the dehydration.
