摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat insulating cooker which can lessen dew condensation to the upper part at the circumference of the inner surface of the cooker and can prevent cooked rice from having excessive moisture. SOLUTION: A main body facing the spacing between a lid 26 and a main body 1 is internally provided with a heating means 51 consisting of a cord heater 53 or the like so as to project from the top surface of the main body 1. The heating means 51 is covered by a flange 15 at the top end of the cooker 11 and a recessed part 15 formed on the under surface of the flange 14 is placed atop the heating means 51 in a state having substantially no clearances. A lid gasket 37 disposed on the under surface of the lid 26 abuts the top surface of the flange 14. The heating means 51 is made to generate heat during the heat insulation including the period until the temperature of the cooked rice in the cooker 11 after rice cooking falls down to a heat-retention temperature and in the period when the cooked rice in the cooker 11 is temporarily reheated during the heat retention.
