    • PURPOSE:To prevent a deterioration in performance caused by the abrasion of an inner wall surface and to improve reliability by forming an abrasive- resistant wall by an abrasive-resistant material on each inner face of a steam.water mixing nozzle intercommunicating with the downstream side of a water supply nozzle. a throat, and a pressuring rising diffuser. CONSTITUTION:A needle valve 4-equipped water supply nozzle 5 is provided in a casing 3 having a steam supply port 1. A steam injection nozzle 6 is formed between the water supply nozzle 5 and the casing 3. A steam water.mixing nozzle 7, a throat 8, and a pressure rising diffuser 9 are provided at the downstream side of the steam injection nozzle 6. The above configuration forms an abrasive-resistant wall 11 by an abrasive-resistant material on each inner surface of the steam.water mixing nozzle 7, the throat 8, and the pressure rising diffuser 9. This applies to emergency reactor core cooling system water injection equipment in a nuclear reactor etc. No deterioration in performance caused by the abrasion of an inner wall surface exists. A steam injector having high reliability is available.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent accumulation of radiated clad in a pump casing 3 and to reduce a dose of exposure of a worker to radiation during periodic inspection by a method wherein an auxiliary blade is formed to the lower end of a pump impeller and reactor water is prevented from flowing in the inner cylinder of a diffuser. CONSTITUTION:A pump impeller 8 adapted to circulate a coolant is mounted to the upper and of a pumps shaft 7 inserted through a pump casing, and an auxiliary blade 16 is formed to the lower and of the pump impeller 8. Reactor water is introduced from a position above the pump impeller 8 and drained to below through rotation of the pump shaft 7, and simultaneously the auxiliary blade 16 generates a flow in a circumferential direction. The flow enables suppression of the generation of a vortex when purge water coming out through a gap between the pump impeller 8 and an inner cylinder 11 of a diffuser 9 is joined with reactor water. Radiated clad in reactor water flows in the inner cylinder of the diffuser and is suppressed from accumulation in the pump casing, and a radiation exposure dose of a motor part can be reduced.
