    • PURPOSE:To perform warming in a short time without causing excessive thermal stress in the casing of a governing valve by closing a main steam stop valve or the small valve of the main steam stop valve which supplies and/or suspend the feed of warming steam, at a specified time. CONSTITUTION:When the difference in metallic temperature between the inner and outer surfaces of a governing valve is less than a threshold value A, an open command signal 27 for the main steam stop valve is generated. When the difference in temperature between the inner and outer surfaces of the governing valve is increased beyond a threshold value B, a closing command signal 28 for the steam stop valve is outputted, so that the main steam stop valve is fully closed. Since the outer surface of a casing goes gradually on increasing in temperature through heat conduction, the difference in temperature between the inner and outer surfaces becomes smaller. Feeding worming steam is kept on until the difference in temperature between the inner and outer surfaces of the governing valve reach a specified valve. This therefore prevents the casing of the governing valve from being thermally stressed excessively, thereby making it possible to minimize warming time.

    • PURPOSE: To reduce steam leakage so as to improve the efficiency of a turbine, by arranging pieces of a shroud plate cut in halves in butt joint form on the top edge of a plural number of rotary blade implanted along the periphery of a rotor and also allowing fins to protrude from the both sides of the pieces of the shroud plate cut in halves.
      CONSTITUTION: A steam turbine is provided with a turbine rotor 1 including impellers 2 as its integrated portions, where a plural number of rotary blade 10 are implanted on each impeller 2 and also provided with a nozzle plate 21 which is installed upstream in relation to the above rotor 1 and enclosed with its own somma ring 20, 22 in the nozzle space, and whole nozzle plate unit 21 is surrounded by a casing 50. Then, pieces 11a, 11b of a shroud plate cut in halves are set on the top edge of a rotary blade 10 and fixed to it by caulking tenons 12a, 12b integrated to the rotary blade 10. Fins 30a, 30b and 31a, 31b are formed on each of shroud plate 11a, 11b respectively, and tip fing 24a, 24b are formed on somma ring 22 of the nozzle so that they may be positioned at the centers of fins 30a, 30b and 31a, 31b respectively.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the extent of efficiency in a steam turbine as well as to promote the compactification of a building by setting up a high pressure part or high, medium pressure part of the steam turbine in the first shaft and a low pressure steam turbine in the second shaft downward, respectively. CONSTITUTION:A gas turbine 1, a compressor 2, and a high, medium pressure steam turbine 3 plus a generator 5 are all connected to an A shaft through a rigid coupling. Likewise, those of gas turbine 1, compressor 2, low pressure steam turbine 4 and generator 5 are all connected to a B shaft through the rigid coupling. As for a steam cycle, exhaust steam out of the low pressure turbine 4 is condensed by a condenser 6, and subjected to heat exchanging by each exhaust heat recovery boiler 7 utilizing exhaust heat of the gas turbine 1 of each shaft, it turns to high pressure and high temperature steam. Each steam to be produced out of these two boilers 7 is converged into one and fed to the high-medium pressure turbine 3. Exhaust steam out of a medium pressure part of this high-medium pressure turbine 3 is fed into the low pressure turbine 4 by a cylinder connecting pipe 8. Thus, the extent of efficiency in the steam turbine is improvable.
