    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device having an analog signal processing circuit capable of simultaneously receiving signals of a plurality of standards.
      SOLUTION: The analog signal processing circuit includes: a frequency conversion unit for receiving a plurality of radio frequency signals having different center frequencies or a plurality of radio frequency signals having the same center frequency but different amplitude-characteristics or phase-characteristics and converting the frequencies of the signals; a frequency selection unit for selecting a signal output from the frequency conversion unit at a predetermined band width; a frequency re-conversion unit for converting part or all of the signal frequencies in the plurality of signals output from the frequency selection unit; and an addition unit for adding a plurality of the signals output from the frequency selection unit. The summation of the plural signals for their outputs can reduce the number of ADCs in an analog-to-digital conversion unit to attain the small, low cost, and low power consumption communication device.

      SOLUTION: A serial/parallel conversion section 2 provides the output of a complex information subcarrier signal to a fast inverse Fourier transform section 3, based on an information bit series. The transform section 3 applies fast inverse Fourier transform to a received subcarrier signal to obtain complex baseband time waveform with an OFDM symbol. A complex redundant subcarrier signal generating section 4 generates a complex redundant subcarrier signal for reducing the amplitude of a complex baseband time waveform of the OFDM symbol, and the transform section 3 applies fast inverse Fourier transform to the complex redundant subcarrier signal, together with the complex information subcarrier signal. Thus, the amplitude of the complex baseband time waveform of the OFDM symbol is reduced.
